Bed encasement for bird mites?

This might have been discussed before, but I'm still new to the whole bird mite

nightmare and mistakenly got the vinyl bed protector, which turned out to be a

haven for the tiny black speck mites.

They will half bury into the tiny vinyl pattern and can come out whenever they

wish.

Is there an effective bed encasement for tiny bird mites? What about bed sheets

and covers? What material has worked best for others to avoid fast infestations?
