Guest guest
I just wanted to tell people not to buy the Vitamat far infrared matt. It was on a comparison list that I posted a couple of weeks ago. It has a mesh surface and woven porous material on the edges, which may be prone to infestation. I am returning mine without even using it because I noticed this. As a side note, I was treated quite poorly by Elliot of healingheat.com when I mentioned that I wanted to return the Vitamat. He told me that my concern was false and all in my head. I told him he had no clue concerning the disease I was dealing with, and that porous material will likely be a problem. He continued to minimize me after that. J
Guest guest
J, hmmm.. I would have to say that the dealer's reaction is not surprising and it's also hard to fault him for not understanding the seriousness of our illness, which is the reason why he's not taking you seriously. Needless to say, unless a person has gone through the pain of what we are going through, we'll come off sounding like OCD quacks. I even had a friend of mine bring me back a very nice FIR mat (a very high end one) ehich I thought would resolve my problems but it did not work for me. It does not get hot enough to sweat so it's more of a therapeutic " improve your circulation and wellbeing " mat than a heavy detox mat I was hoping for. It too has an all fabric top so the first thing I did was to take a 1mm thicknes painter's tarp and wrap it. So if you're still stuck with yours, maybe you cab wrap yours too? I think you really need an FIR unit that makes you sweat gobs so you'll detox. So we need a real sauna, not an FIR pad. I sleep on mine though and have not used the air matress in months. When I wake up, I vacuum the tip with a brush attachment and also sometimes wipe the top with clorox wet wipes. Then it's ready for the next day. With the nice weather, i've also been laying out by the pol. It helps alot and clears up alot of the red acne-like bumps on my cheeks. And I go running at the park and sweat some more with exercise. If you're physically able, exercising does wonders to the body but also the state of mind. Fights depression. > > > > I just wanted to tell people not to buy the Vitamat far infrared matt.
