Guest guest
Cowboy What do you mean by handled? If DE is just dusted and not stirred up you should be fine. Not sure about the boric acid and RP, have only used the moppable boric acid in my fogger and to mop with. I have never used RP. The fact it is blue the RP is why I used boric acid instead. http://doyourownpestcontrol.com/mopup.htm > > We are all using all kinds of stuff in all kinds of ways. In the last few days, I handled RP and DE and another Boric Acid. I was careful not to breath any in, but I must have. For two days now my sinuses feel like I have a cold or pollen allergy. Has anyone experienced something like this in the past? >
Guest guest
I felt the buggers on my lower legs so I put some DE on to see what it would do. It did nothing. I mixed some Boric acid in water and mopped it on the floor. I also sprayed some RP on a couch and took a nap on it 2 days later. I think I may have breathed some in off the couch. > > > > We are all using all kinds of stuff in all kinds of ways. In the last few days, I handled RP and DE and another Boric Acid. Guest guest
Probably was the boric acid. Many pages written on sinus irritation. When inhaled, boric acid powder can irritate the nose, throat and lungs. You should wear a dust mask, gloves and eye protection when applying it. Keep boric acid in its original container and store in a safe place. http://www.greenharvest.com.au/pestcontrol/cockroach_info.html > > > > > > We are all using all kinds of stuff in all kinds of ways. Guest guest
Try white distilled vinegar and epsom salt on your legs, or MMS water. http://jimhumble.biz/biz-skin.htm > > > > > > We are all using all kinds of stuff in all kinds of ways. Guest guest
I'm trying Apple Cider vinegar and appear to be getting very good results. > > > > > > > > We are all using all kinds of stuff in all kinds of ways. Guest guest
Cowboy when I said DE dusted I meant with a bulb duster in cracks and crevices. http://www.allpestexpress.com/insecticide-dust-applicator.aspx > > > > We are all using all kinds of stuff in all kinds of ways.
