I am joining this list to learn more and ask questions of the group. I recently declined to have vaccinated with childhood and flu vaccines. However, he previously was vaccinated on the regular vac schedule--before I knew better. Thankfully, his peditrician didn't give me grief as he understood my reasoning. We have an appointment with a leading DAN doc in August--the wait list was 6 months!--who we are traveling across the US to consult with. It will be interesting to hear what this doc's recommendation will be regarding vaccines--I suspect he will not recommend them. We also are participating in research studies with the M.I.N.D. Institute at University of California, in , California. They study autism, fragile-x and fragile-x carriers. I look forward to learning from y'all and being able to post questions to the group.
