Guest guest
Glad to hear it Nita. Will be keeping fingers crossed for you, that your numbers stay good. And thanks for the update on your son. I congratulate you on all the research you have done in the meantime to make sure you deal with it in the best possible way. is lucky to have such a determined mother. Guest guest
Nope. I still don’t trust vaccines at all and I haven’t done any vaccines at all for the last 6 years. I don’t know what his trigger was for it but ASD does run in the family, from dh’s side. Now though I’m more committed to not getting sucked into a useless vita K shot either for the new baby.. I know it seems silly sometimes that everyone else had one and seems OK but yk, that aluminum.. I don’t care. Guest guest
A friend of mine who is an MD refused the vit. K shot for his baby as well....he is very familiar with the dangers of the shot as well as aluminum. Check your son for high strep antibodies and/or yeast. I know a mom who did not vaccinate her kids, they had autism and tests showed mercury toxicity. He's only 2, he can recover; I know several parents whose children have recovered or nearly recovered. Homeopathy has helped many of the 'tough nuts' as well. I didn't start treating my son biomedically until he was 11 and he is nearly recovered at 13 but it's best to do it when they're young. Guest guest
I started treating my son with biomedical interventions at age 3 and he was recovered by age 5 (the age when he lost his diagnosis). He had yeast problems big time as well as severe free radical damage - to name a few of his metabolic issues. We ran tests on him to pinpoint his metabolic issues and treated those directly. My doctor helps kids by phone consult. Email me off list if you'd like his information. He is amazing! He's a chiorpractor/nutritionist with knowledge in a lot of other areas. Recovery is possible! My son now is a bright, normal 7 year old boy. My younger son was full of mercury and aluminum and he wasn't vaccinated at all. Fortunately, he didn't become autistic because of it, but he did have some significant speech delays. Autism isn't 100% connected to vaccines. It needs an environmental trigger - vaccines are just one of those triggers, but there are many others. Most autism these days is a toxcity of some sort rather than the disease it was 30-40 years ago. Most of our autistic kids are poisoned and experiencing difficulties that go along with that. Good luck! Roni On Dec 24, 2007 7:58 AM, <naa-chicago@...> wrote: > A friend of mine who is an MD refused the vit. Guest guest
Pollution of any kind - water, air, pesticides, herbicides, drugs, overuse of antibiotics (kills good bacteria in body and allows yeast to grow and run rampant). If Mom has a lot of amalgam fillings, there is mercury circulating in her system (since they excrete mercury from the time they're put in) and it will cross the placenta to her baby. Kids can get a fair amount of mercury through the air they breathe, the food they eat, water they drink and the dirt they play in. The earth is full of mercury and much of it is where it's not supposed to be. There's a ton of possibilities There is a genetic component, but it's just a suspectibility and requires an environmental trigger. My youngest son's (not autistic) heavy metal tox screen showed that he was high in mercury, aluminum and cadmium even though he was never vaccinated. I know for a fact the cadmium was from drinking tap water that was not filtered. Now we only drink RO water and are working on filtering the water as it comes into the house since the water pollutants seep into the food that is cooked in that water and through our skin through showers, teeth brushing, etc. My doc does a yearly heavy metal detox on himself because we're exposed to heavy metals all the time - we have no choice in it because our environment, food, and water are so polluted. So we have to do the best we can. Guest guest
ARRGGGHHH...there is aluminum in the vitamin K shot that they give? Are you freaking kidding me?????????? I went overboard to research this crap and I didn't do the antibiotic eye drops, hep b, and have delayed vaccines. My daughter is almost 6 months. > > Nope. Guest guest
that is so weird. My 9 yo was found to be heavy in lead, aliminium, and cadmium.. We have always had a filter. One of the best thtat even filtered the fluorine. There were occasons when we didn't have one (such as when we moved) and dining out or when he was away from home but none of the other children have the difficulties he has and I haven't had their hair analyzed. We were using an oral chelator and it did some good. That was over 1 1/2 yrs ago and a retest using his hair indicated a decline. however, same problems and I had his blood drawn 9first exposure to needles, poor thing) and it fine. I am not convinced as I know the hair testing is more precise but that's all military does. Now I am trying to locate a provider that tests the hair. thd non-military doctor we are going to uses homeopathy (but no credentials) and so far I haven't noticed a change in his behaviour. Our chiropractor knows a fellow DC who tests the hair but hasn't been able to contact him so waiting for that. it'll be over an hour drive and probably over $200. Guest guest
We've always used a filter too and had loads of cadmium. Blood is very unreliable as far as testing goes and will not give you a true indication of what's actually stored in the body & brain. If you send me your mailing address (hotmocha @ telus .net minus the spaces of course) I'll copy you a DVD that you'll find interesting regarding testing for metals and how it was done in one particular study. It also covers what we did for our metal detox after about $20000 worth of various alternative therapies didn't work for us to get the mercury/cadmium out. Our story is in the archives here too or you can view it on my website: www.ncdpro.com/detoxqueen. I would suggest listening to the recording too. A bit off topic but not too far I think is that people in the military, policemen, etc that spend a lot of time on shooting ranges are likely lead toxic. I recently heard of a story where someone's house was built on a former shooting range and she had about four miscarriages before figuring it out. She was totally lead toxic. Guest guest
We just joined a year ago so it's not the military housing but it could've been othr housing as we had bought 2 pre-victorian houses and have no idea if there was lead. there was original paint that we semi-removed. It could've been in the ground at any of the places we lived also. Could've been the toys as he was into Blue (nick) and Power Rangers for a tim and lots of other toys that they probably have now determined had lead! And I would be amiss if i negleacted to add the cigartte smoke he is aound (no flaming please. I can't control my dh). He has eaten organic most of his life. I guess all that matters now is the chelating. Thanks for info and I'll get to it soon! Laurie -----
