Greetings! Also Info on Religious Vaccine Exemptions

Hi!

My name in Debra Vernon, and I am a corporate lawyer in California

working from home part time so I can be with my 19-month old son (not

vaxed, still bf). I have been passionately anti-vax since researching

the issues when pregnant with my son. So far I have been mostly a lurker

on this site, learning from all your great postings here and at OTVAX.

I was raised to go to allopathic doctors and take meds for diseases but

now I have a whole different outlook on health, thanks in large part to

having a child and wanting to know what was best for him, and from

reading references discussed on this site and OTVAX about natural

treatments, homeopathy and nutrition - Weston A. Price, Dr. Mercola ...

I've been sharing what I've learned with family and friends to help

protect their little ones. My brother and sister-in-law just told me

they are skipping the hep B vax in the hospital when their baby is born

next month and may not vax at all so I'm very excited!

From time to time I come across articles and info on the web about the

legal aspects of vaccine exemptions in the US, and I would love to post

them if people in the group are interested. I'm not sure if this is the

right forum for that, but I figure the more informed we are about the

laws, the more empowered we'll be to protect our rights to choose

whether to vax, so please let me know if it is relevant for the group.

Or let me know if there is another group for this info. I'd also love to

hear from any other lawyers who are involved in these issues in a more

activist role, which is a direction I would like to take.

Dr. Mercola's site is such a good resource for vaccine info. He calls

vaccines " assault with a deadly weapon. "
