Now, that is very extreme! Is this a Offit seminar? I will leave the U.S. rather than succumb to forced vaccination for myself or my family. That is not something that I want to do either but I'll be damned if I will let them inject us with their poisons. Disgusted, Mavis Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense. Guest guest
I second that!! My guess is its a scare tactic since there has been so much anti-vaccine media.... Guest guest
Interesting solution, to leave the country! Guest guest
WTH?! ok, so i can get in trouble if my child GETS a 'vaccine preventable' disease, but what if he was vaxed & was damaged or GOT THE DISEASE anyway!? can i turn around then & sue them & get reimbursed the same way they want to prosecute parents?! that's such a load of BS. & exemptions not constitutional??? neither the hell is forced vaccination! if they actually TRIED to be concerned w/ thier ingredients & making them safer it might not have such an anti-vax reaction (not taking into account the rest of the vax debate), but they don't give a rats fuzzy butt one bit! ~marcia~ > > > > > > In a message dated 10/24/2007 2:28:51 P.M. Guest guest
So in your opinion Canada or Australia have better laws regarding vaccines and other such choices than the U.S.? There is a chance we may move in the future, my husband has always liked the idea of Canada or Australia....which would be so much fun I think, I love going to the beach! I've spent many summers in Sicily where I would go to the beach every day. During those months I feel so healthy and alive and every single little problem disappears and my skin is flawless. I've been here in Seattle now almost 2 months and although it is beautiful, it is too gloomy > >Interesting solution, to leave the country! Guest guest
The area in Australia that I live in Vida, seems to be a good place. I have never had any opposition from schools, day care or doctors. Nobody has ever tried to make me feel bad over my choice. I don't necessarily get agreement, but nobody has ever tried to criticise me. Over here we have what is called a conscientious objection form. Basically it states that we have researched vaccination and don't wish to do so due to our own misgivings. We have to get a doctor to sign. I know for a fact that the doc who signed mine had his own child vaccinated that very week. He just advised me that I should consider a couple of specific vaccines. I can't even remember which these were. Unfortunately there is always the chance that our freedom of choice may be taken away. But with people like Meryl from the AVN helping us, that hopefully won't ever happen. If forced vaccination was put onto us here, I would just go bush. And homeschool etc. They would have to drag me out kicking and screaming to get away with it. Fieldman Re: Pennsylvania: Scary proposals from a " Vaccine Education S...
