Guest guest
Did I mention that I had talked to my OB about it and he's cool w/ me skipping it?! He said he would of course encourage it but he realizes it a very small risk and therefore small need and if I want to skip it, he won't try to talk me out of it. I wish I had thought to question it 8 years ago. That would have saved me 4 shots and possibly 4 sets of blood work?! I'm hoping for that this time. AND we're talking about early discharge too which will save me some blood work, I hope! The vampires at the hospital I deliver at are HORRIBBBBBLE! Wretched. Nasty. Ick. AND they've converted the LDRP suites into just LDR and P is down the hall in real hospital room looking rooms. ICKY!! And it's funny b/c I remember when all the hospitals' touted their remodeling into LDRP as a " look why it's so much better to have your baby here " The nurses said they get too full though...I hate those rooms. I hope it's empty and they'll let me just stay in the L, D, R suite and let it become a P suite. We managed to have all our babies in the same room there since . And dh is dead set against a homebirth, even though I'm the one birthing. Nita, yes my hands are full, but not my heart: 14, Jon 12, 10, 8, 6, Christian (RIP: 7/16/03 to 8/22/04), 1, and due 2/08 Some minds are like concrete: Thoroughly mixed up and permanently set.
