I know there has been a lot of debate about using the above substances.

I would like to relay my experience. I first encountered bird mites about 18 mos

ago. I currently have no problems with crawling or biting. Although I still get

bites on my feet if I spend a lot of time in the basement. I still do some of

the protocol, but haven't sprayed or done any special cleaning in a long time.

Right now I am trying to treat the fungus/yeast that attracted them to me in the

first place. I picked up a book entitled Yeast Control in Seven Days. Yesterday

was the 7th day. I think it has helped a lot, although not a complete cure since

I wasn't able to do everything recommended. I plan to try it again in a couple

of weeks, but next time following the program and meals more closely. The first

4 days you are told to use Dioxychlor DC3 (my understanding is that it is the

same as MMS) It is recommended that you take it upon waking and right before you

go to bed. It says you may have stomach problems if taken with food. The author

recommends taking the drops on an empty stomach with 1oz of water (or aloe vera

juice) Day 1 5 drops then 10, Day 2 13 then 18, Days 3 & 4 20 drops am & pm. I

was fine the first day, day 2 shortly after lunch I had nausea, stomach cramps

and diarrhea, luckily I was able to take a nap and felt fine later. It is

recommended that you decrease the dosage to personal tolerance, but not

discontinue use. I was never able to take more than the 13 drops due to the

herxheimer reaction caused by die off of candida cells. (maybe next time I can

work up to the 20 drops) Acidophilus and/or enemas are recommended to prevent

the herx reaction. There is an intensive program that works up to 40 drops per

dose. The book states to use high doses only under supervision and for no longer

that 4 days at a time.

I don't see anything wrong with using MMS/DC3, but I would caution using it much

past the 4 days without doing a colonic, colema or several high enemas to flush

the dead Candida cells from your intestines.

in health,

Laurel
