Guest guest
Herbal Healer also carries DHEA from turmeric root tuber - http://www.herbalhealer.com/dhea.html - in vegetarian capsules. Couldn't find it in the free catalog (http://www.herbalhealer.com/drherbsbroch.html), but remember an info sheet was sent with it when I ordered a bottle months ago - will poke around here to see if I can find it. Don't recall why I wanted to try it - lol - besides anti-aging benefits. Just took my first one - thanks for the reminder, Bobby! Page 30 of the catalog expands on the entries for Men online: http://www.herbalhealer.com/men.html. Had adrenal exhaustion myself some 20 years ago at the height of a fast-paced career, and recognized the same symptoms when I was buggy. Entire body went into hyper-drive trying to overcome the toxic effects of the mites & their payload. Chose detox & nutritional support (diet, herbals, homeopathics, supplements) immediately, knowing that strategy helped me overcome adrenal exhaustion after mycoplasma pneumonia as well as a CFS-like collapse a few years before those events. Looking for appropriate detox & support remedies at the onset of mitemare, found Herbal Healer. Discovered the 3-Point Plan for Health (page 16 of catalog) & now available online thanks to Lynn - http://www.herbalhealer.com/3pointplan.html. I'd already been drinking the 4-Herb Tea (organic generic Essiac) for a month before beginning the 3-Point Plan – just the way it happened for me. The 4-Herb Tea is included in the 3-Point Plan in Month 1 anyway. I continued the Tea through all 3 months of the Plan & still drink it daily. Also continued the Colon Enhancer of Month 2 into Month 3 & a month after that, reducing the dose to 3 capsules 2x a day. Still take it at least once a day. (Herbal Healer recommends Colon Enhancer be taken for at least 3 months per catalog page 11.) Month 3 deals with parasites & calls for Intestinal Freedom by American Biologics. I added the HHA (Herbal Healer Academy private label brand) Wormwood Plus Tincture in Month 3 to be thorough (as mentioned on catalog page 15). Also continued the Colloidal Minerals of Month 3 after the Plan was done. This may sound complicated & technical, especially with the references for explanation to the catalog. Once you look into it, you'll see it's fairly simple. The reasoning behind it seemed sound & logical to me. Month 1 - First gently detox & strengthen the liver, kidneys & spleen so they can effectively handle the next step. Month 2 - Once those organs have been "tuned up", also work on the colon so any die-off toxins released treating typical chronic low-level infections will be promptly removed from the body & not cause toxemia (too many toxins knocked loose for the body to handle). Month 3 – Now that your body is stronger, you can go after parasites while rebuilding the immune system. You definitely want your body to be functioning to clean out/remove the parasites killed! Herbal Healer states the 3-Point Plan is the minimal protocol – modifications may be needed – check specific ailments pages of the catalog – and afterwards you may also need a specific environmental homeopathic detox program. You can ask questions through the website or in the Directions box during checkout. McCain/Herbal Healer also recommends natural foods free from contaminants, as additives strain the organs & can weaken your body. Diet is important – especially while you're working to regain health. (And to stay healthy afterwards.) Working out the monthly cost for the individual months, it will vary with what you need & what's on sale, but here's the lowdown as of today. Minimum shipping is $8 per order & I've included it in the totals. Month 1 - $81.90 total. Adding the laxative, if needed, brings it up to $99.85. (The laxative bottle contains 150 tablets – one before bed if needed – so would last 150 days/5 months if you needed them daily.) If you have stiffness or arthritis, adding those remedies without the laxative costs $128.75. Including the laxative, $146.70. Month 2 - $114.90 total. Since the order (before shipping) is more than $100, check the order form in the shopping cart to send free vitamins. Adding 3 bottles of Colon Enhancer at this point, so you have a 3 month supply at a discount, brings the total to $149.95. Month 3 - $100.80 total. (Check the send free vitamins box again.) Adding the Wormwood Plus (you'll need to go to the upper left of the webpage & select Parasites from the dropdown menu to find it), will run $117.75. Adding another basic 4-Herb Tea (without Dandelion – find Essiac from dropdown menu at upper right of webpage & select Bulk 4-Herb Tea Packet) will bring the total to $139.70. Add $2 more & order 4-Herb Tea with Dandelion from Month 1 on the Plan shopping page if you want to continue the dandelion. Adding another month of Colon Enchancer brings it up to $161.65. (Unless you decided when ordering for Month 2 to buy 3 bottles of Colon Enhancer at once for a lower cost per bottle & already have it on hand.) Found these costs just by adding items to the shopping cart & checking totals, then emptying the cart. Just to give a cost overview as of today. The lowdown on the 4-Herb Tea – the Plan calls for drinking 2 ounces twice a day for a total of 4 ounces daily. At that rate, one packet of tea, which makes up into 2 gallons, would last 2 months. (4 ounces daily x 30 days = 120 ounces = 1 gallon. Some water is lost to evaporation & what the herbs absorb when cooking the tea.) Going up to 2 ounces four times a day gradually, as Lynn & I did, will use the entire packet for brewing the tea in one month instead of two. Depending on how much tea you might choose to drink daily (no more than 8 ounces a day), you may need to order more tea packets if you decide to continue the tea at higher doses. Ordering multiples brings the individual packet costs down. I personally found this Plan very gentle on me & very effective. The free catalog itself is a wealth of information, as is the website. Best wishes, Sue Bobby thanks for your insight and encouragement. Getting responses like these reminds me that people here like you really care. :)I did meet some new people last night. It was a nice time.J
Guest guest
Joan - If he only knew how many spouses and partners were left in the dust when the mitemare hit. You are the only person I know who is active on any forum on behalf of a significant other. So tell him I said so next time you disagree!! lol Bessie > > > > > > > > Hi Katyie, > > > > The farm theory is very interesting and unfortunately it sort of makes sense. > > > > > > > > You are so analytical that I have a question for you. I have looked at myself with a 4x magnifier in very bright light while I feel the sharp stab of a bite and see nothing. I have closely examined my body when it is stinging and burning with the 4x and see nothing. My skin feels like I have bumped into fiberglass and no matter how I illuminate the irritated area I see nothing sticking out of it at 4x. I have to wear sweatclothes inside out because it feels like myriads of tiny splinters projecting from my skin are catching on the fuzzy nap of the fabrics and yet I see nothing. > > > > > > > > My Question is, what is the threshold of human sensation. How do I feel so much pain from bites I canâ?Tt see happening. I wish I could find a microscopic point pin and examine my ability to feel something that tiny. Guest guest
When I saw a mite I grabbed a piece of clear scotch tape and put on top of them sticky side down then carefully lifted. They stuck to the tape. I then transferred the tape (still sticky side down) to microscope slides where they remained stuck. Leave the scotch tape in place and you will have a good specimen. Re: skin nerve endings theory Thanks. How did you use the scotch tape?D.> > >> > > No, and he only took it when the crawling sensation got too much for him. I guess he took it about 2 weeks max. Still have some on hand but have not needed it. Hopefully it will stay that way.> > > Joan> >>
