Guest guest
Think I have a problem with feeling a bug under my skin and trying to pull it out with tweezers and messing up my skin more..or overdoing some topical application and my skin gets too raw....so I kinda know what You mean Lynn...That is a great idea the asparagus tea...read somewhere how good it is ....maybe it was asparagus juice...was just thinking You could eat raw asparagus in salads...been doing cilantro in salads...try to eat as much salad as possible..been eating yams alot and they are sweet but don't make my bugs go nuts...anyway the board is quiet..been cleaning alot and using boric acid in the cracks where the demons hide...very helpful stuff...less mites on the floor...my face looks ug but what the heck applying for permanent disability maybe it will help lol Rose > > Hi All > > Its quiet on the forum. We must of run out of steam or the holidays finally took over. Or that full moon has us fighting bugs harder. I did a load of laundry with the Bio-Kleen and added Echo Orange. That has really helped. I can hardly wait to get the Bio-Kleen prenium powder laundry soap. Get my clothes back to normal. Well have had a busy day and alot of stinging skin all day. This evening for some reason my skin got real quit. Just a few whispy movers. No stinging or biting. Now that my shower routine is over I have a little more activaty. > > On the Baking Powder. Does anyone else have trouble with it pulling things out of the pores so good that you end up with what feels like paper cuts and more sores??? I do not have a bath so I was mixing a 1/4 C. of B P with a quart of water and spraying all over and it did not get the hard biters that started up a few days ago. So I started rubbing it in by hand and that made a huge difference. But I have more sores and they hurt unlike the previous smaller sores. I also have areas that feel like paper cuts. Like on my sides near my arm pits. On my upper chest also. Just trying to figure that one out. Maybe the Salt scrub I do after the B P is to hard on the skin and tearing it open. Well hope everyone can get a desent nights rest. > > In Light Lynn > p.s. I forgot to share another health aspect. Remember at the begaining of my comming on board I was on blood pressure medicine and it made my skin so sensitive that the bugs crawling felt like hooks on my skin and was really painful. Well when I started the 3 points plan by McCain I also started taking Asparagus tea. It has brought my blood pressure down a little more than the pills ever did with no side effects. My pills would keep me at about 135 over 82 and would shoot up pretty high on a regular basis. Even though I took them faithfully at close to the same hour every day. Now my blood pressure hangs out around 133 over 72 and hardly goes up at all. Here is the link to McCains Aspargus tea. http://www.herbalhealer.com/drchi.html Its about the fourth one down on the page. The tea last for a whole month and after building it up in the body it does not hurt if you miss a day. Once I get my body well I may try a maintence level to see what my blood pressure does. Drink it four days a week once I get well. Than drink more days on stressful days. >
Guest guest
Hi Lynn, Just a couple of suggestions here. Bill and I use the Arm and Hammer baking soda to bath in, not powder. I also use it as a scrub, about three parts of powder to water, enough to make it easily flow over my body. I shut the water off, apply it, and scrub lightly with it for it is abrasive. I rinse it off, then apply the ESP botanicals soap or shampoo that Trish addded extra menthol to for me as a body wash. I then balm or oil to moisturize. I would probably do either the salt or soda, for both can be a little rough on the skin. Maybe skipping both scrubs on good days and just using the esp soap then oiling might give your skin some relief. Sometimes we get carried away trying to do too much at once and our skin tells us so. Did you try the ESP spiced bath oil that Trish sent you in a scrub yet? I was wondering how you made out with it. Remember it is very concentrated and strong, and to try it with only a very small amount. The directions say for a whole tub to use only 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon. B > > On the Baking Powder.
