Guest guest
Hi Bessie, Could you possibly do me a favor? My hair was previously falling out but now it has stopped since infrared. However, now it isn't growing. I was wondering if you knew anyone else with the same problem and what did they do to get it growing? Thanks, -

Guest guest
Hi Bessie & Do you think it might be a chemical you are using I found this on earthclinic I searched & #39; earthclinc hair growth ( it says Tumeric stops hair growth ) [YEA] 04/09/2007: Pranathi from Vegas, USA writes: & quot;Just wanted to add that turmeric is used in India on infants as well with good results. Babies are regularly bathed with turmeric paste to prevent infections (not on the head though, since it prevents hair growth). The quality of the turmeric must be checked though and the infant & #39;s skin watched carefully the first few days after using. A harmless side effect is that it colors the skin/nails for a while. A pinch is also put on the baby & #39;s tongue and used to clean it. & quot; God Bless you , Bill Doe wrote: > > Oh you are funny , ! > Shaved it quick before you needed a weed wacker...... . Guest guest
Bill - Glad you liked the comment! I take turmeric, but internally not as an external paste. I wonder if it has the same effect taking it internally? Bessie > >>> > >>> Hi Bessie, > >>> > >>> Could you possibly do me a favor? Guest guest
Well, I just did a quick search and found different opinions. This is the conclusions of a study: " This study showed no statistical difference in the P value among the subjects with acne who used turmeric and those who did not use turmeric. Subjects who were using turmeric did not have decreased hair growth when compared with those who were not using turmeric. Turmeric stains both hair and skin. This yellow hair on the a yellow skin, gives a camouflage effect and so the hair looks less visible. We demonstrated this by taking few strands of black hair and some of them were smeared with turmeric. Those hairs which were smeared with and without turmeric were placed on a yellow background. Those hairs which was colored with turmeric appeared less visible than the hairs without turmeric. From this study we conclude that turmeric does not decrease hair growth has no influence on acne. " However, I did read that SOY may have the effect of slowing hair growth. Would have to research that a bit, but I do know that it contains an estrogen-like substance and may feminize....maybe I shouls start taking it and see if the hair on my legs starts looking like a woman again! Guest guest
Rose, we refer to ourselves as one of Bessie's blondes when H202 alters the color of our hair...lol. Rosemary is suppose to also help bring your natural color back. I've been using Weleda rosemary hair oil from Whole Foods to restore my hair from all the washing. It also has these bug fighting ingredients: Limonene*, Linalool*, Geraniol Bobby http://usa.weleda.com/our-products/shop/rosemary-hair-oil.aspx
Guest guest
Lets see folic acid is good for hair growth and depression,(often found in pre-natal vitamins but many here prob don't want a multiple vite, thyroid(low) is often the cause of hair falling out, skin dryness....I saw on one of Trisha's protocols that some people like us need iodine drops...to support thyroid I believe --- rosebanks@... wrote: From: " Rose " <rosebanks@...> <bird mites > Subject: Re: Re: Question for Bessie Date: Wed, 23 Dec 2009 19:52:07 -0800 Off the top of my hairy peroxide soaked head(frizzy kind a day)Not sure what color but what the heck....I think amino acids would possibly be helpful...lysine (can't spell)has an effect on premature greying, sunflower seeds are a good source..that's a guess but let me see what I can google --- bessieglavas@... wrote: From: " Bessie " <bessieglavas@...> bird mites Subject: Re: Question for Bessie Date: Thu, 24 Dec 2009 01:21:15 -0000 Well, I just did a quick search and found different opinions. Guest guest
You mention the thyroid, I think that is my culprit. I lost my sex drive around the same time. It is funny, I just started infrared theory and that was my biggest turning point regarding my skin symptoms, then my body takes this dive. I basically lost the sensation of bugs on my skin but my hair started falling out. Can't catch a break can I? > > > > > ------------------------------------ > >

Guest guest
Lynn - I was half kidding about that. I don't use soy, except soy lecithin. There is only one brand that I can get in the health food stores around here that does NOT use GMO soy (90% of soy is GMO). Guest guest
My roomie is in denial, but has M. Too much evidence. One of the things that happened to him is that his Bill Clinton white hair began growing in very dark in places. One time when he was getting a haircut, he looked at the clippings and remarked " Is that MY hair?? " because it was so dark. I find it intriguing that some people have mild cases of M, to the point that they can ignore the symptoms. This has been going on with him for at least 6 years, probably more.
