Musty basement? Moldy attic? Earthy-smelling room, closet, cottage or garage?

Try fogging Concrobium Mold Control – it's the perfect way for homeowners to

eliminate and prevent mold in large, inaccessible spaces.

Foggers aerosolize Concrobium into a fine mist which spreads throughout the

target area, coating all exposed surfaces with the product. Once the solution is

dry, the surface is mold-free and mold-resistant. And those musty odors? They

disappear.

Don't have a fogger? They're available for rent at every Home Depot Tool Rental

Center in North America and select hardware retailers.

Fogging is not a one time done deal (oh don't I wish!).

It will take many applications so if you're going to fog, it's better to just go

out and buy.

Here's trijet fogger for $180. (I just googled for it)

http://www.shop.com/Commander_%22Tri_Jet%22_Fogger-37034725-49488423-p+.xhtml?so\

urceid=298

Or you can get it from the Cedarcide shop for about $350 (after shipping) that

comes with 2 gallons of cedarcide. Even if you don't believe cedarcide works,

you can try to leaverage off of the fog that cedarcide creates and put some

other stuff into the machine, like nylar or neem oil or some other stuff. For

example, if you just put nylar into water and fog, it won't fog. It will just

jet out fine mist. But if you put say an ounce or two of nylar into cedarcide,

it will still fog quite nicely and now you got nylar all over the place.

I'd also like to point out the misnomer in " fogging " . If you have a solution

like cedarcide that you put through a fogging machine like trijet, it will

really fog, as in you'll see this dense cloud of fog come out that will linger

for hours and hours and get in contact with anything it touches. However, you

can't just dump in water, H202, windex, household cleaner, etc (I've done them

all) into the fogger and expect a fog. You'll just end up creating fine vapor

that does not linger so you'll have to do a more point and shoot approach for a

contact knockdown - it's more work than fogging. I'm personally not aware of

any other solution that produces fog besides cedarcide (basically the vapor form

has to be lighter than the surrounding air) but I'm sure some of the bright

minds here might be able to find a good base liquid where we can add our own

stuff and fog so we won't have to spend the ridiculous $75/gal buying cedarcide

that has questionable results for what we're dealing with.

Over the next few days, I will spray concrobium all over my condo and will

report back the results. I'll be using a home-made solution w/ the same

ingredients as concrobium at the correct ratio. It's way cheaper to make it

yourself. Otherwise, it's $35/gal at Home Depot. If you want details on how to

make it yourself, just email me. It's patented so is it ok to share publicly

how to make it as long as we don't profit from it? Someone pls clarify.

Now what's the point of using this?

Well, if I truly believed that I was plagued w/ mites, I think this would be a

waste of time. If it's something more of fungal/mold in nature than it's a

great experiment to see whether this works. I got the idea about this when Bill

mentioned this product when he was first introducing us to his use of A & H.

Thanks for the info.

Does anyone here know if the recipe from this post would work in the Tri-Jet

Fogger?

" THE BASE FOR YOUR OWN CEDARSIDE

8 ounces of Commercial Cedarwood Essential Oil

Mix with One Gallon of Witch hazel and the strongest liter bottle of

Vodka you can buy ETOH. It is much Cheaper that Cedarcide and lasts

a hell of a lot longer.

MIXING OF THE SPRAY

Now here is the trick, the above is your base so do not spray this,

mix One Cup of the Above with one Gallon of water. I usually suggest

adding 20 Mule team borax, sea salt and baking soday but it turns

everything white (thanks Bobby for letting me know) so....

Mix a Cup of the Above with 1 Gallon of water, spray your home with

it and clear out the kids and the pets just in case. After you spray

you can bring the family and pets back in a half hour later.

yOU CAN ADD. IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT. LIME ESSENTIAL OIL, GINGER, THYME

RED OR WHITE, CINNAMON, CADE, PEPPERMINT, EUCAPTYLUS, ECT. JUST ONE

OUNCE OF EACH PLEASE TO THE BASE.

For those of you whose neighbors complain of a smell, burn

peppermint, wintergreen and (or) spearmintoils with water in a

burner or on the stove in a pan of water. Then maybe they won't give

you so much crap as it works well and smells better. Otherwise

if you don't have neighbors who are a pain in the ass, do buy

menthol crystals and put them in a Muslim bag or small bowl and in

your closets, clothing drawers. Do NOT EAT THEM. LOL

Ridding your home requires vigilance, You may have to throw out that

sofa or rug that you love, but that requires letting go of THINGS. "

Hi Cerph

Kixx knows the fogger , I wonder how hard it is to clean if it get plugged up.

I just use my tri-jet fogger for the first time 30 mins ago on a job site I am

spraying Mold Control made by concrobium. It for killing the mildew in the

attic.

The fogger is very powerful, it is like a kirby vacuam set on blow, it is as

loud as vacuum. It used 1 gallon of liquid in less then 15 mins. I had the flow

control set on Medium .

I accidently breathed in the fog & it was a s sweet as antifreeze in a radiator

, like candy. strange . I called poison control they contains

sodium carbonate , & if it contains under 1% it does not have to be listed , &

will not hurt you ... I still think it is very sweet to just be sodium

carbonate.

Please let me know anything you learn about the fogger & homede cedarcide.

Thanks , Bill

It's a workhorse, the tri jet fogger. I spray just about everything through it.

This recipe came from Trish at ESP Botanicals. I'm sure it will help as a

knockdown, but probably not a knockout unless you add the powders. It will not

float in the air for hours, like Kixx likes, like Cedarcide will. Worth trying

though. B

Bill,

I don't get the feeling it's a good idea to breathe any of this stuff (even

those sprays advertising to be environmentally safe).

If I use a fogger, I plan to " vacate the premises " for a while.

B.,

Have you, personally, tried using this cheaper alternative to pure Cedarcide (in

your Tri-Jet)?

Do you know any who has?

I have bought the Pet Horse And Livestock from cedarcide it makes 100 gallons

although for a strong solution I would make 50 gallons for $60.00 before

shipping, so even the strong solution is a little of a $1.50 a gallon after

shipping. I make my own solution for my pets to. Marie

No I have not made this exact mix. I probably should have for I like the

Cedarcide as a knockdown. It was just never a knockout for me. I used an

essential oil mix instead of the cedar oil with a different base. This looks

like a strong mix. I often use vodka and witch hazel in the mixes I spray

around. I would try it, it looks like a killing mix. Be sure to spray with a

respirator and mask and leave for at least several hours to let it settle.
