Guest guest
Hi everyone, I recently had xtreme cleen sent to me from the USA at great expense. I seem to be having excellent results with it. I've had this mitey problem for over ten years. I've moved house 5 times, gotten rid of 3 beds, 4 mattresses, heaps of clothing and I have managed to reduce my problem to about 98% of what I used to have but I'm now trying to get rid of the remaining 2%. I'm having great results with xtreme cleen. After washing my bedding in it (with my mattress already wrapped in plastic) and towels and clothing... I'm finding that I'm sleeping the WHOLE NIGHT THROUGH!!!! I thought I was a light sleeper but I've only just come to realise that I think I was a " light " sleeper coz the damn bugs were waking me up for the last ten years. Maybe this'll be short lived, I'm not sure but I'm feeling way more positive, it's amazing what poor sleep can do to your personality. I'm going to keep trialing xtrmeme clen before I rave or recommend it to you all... but so far so good. I don't think the ammonia, borax soak (for 24 hours) works for me. I think it kills the hatched bastards but not the eggs... I soaked a coat in borax and ammonia for 2 days... I was feeling great after I washed my ordinary clothing in xtrmeme cleen but as soon as I put my coat on I started getting bitten again! DAmn! My only issue with Xtreme Cleen is that I've been using it with hot water, despite the fact that Shanon from Shanspirations recommends not to (I tried to contact her but can't register on that site for some reason)... So I contacted the Xtrmeme Cleen company and they responded to my questions (see below). I hope I've been given the correct advice. My eyes are feeling a little itchy today so I'm a little nervous. If anyone knows for sure that the fumes are toxic could you please let me know how you know? RESPONSES FROM XTRMEME CLEEN (You might want to read from the bottom up. I sent them two emails): That is correct. Xtreme Cleen was recommended to me but I don't know how to use it in the laundry. I read through your instructions but it is still not clear to me. I have heard that some people get boils on their skin after using this product so i want to make sure that that doesn't happen to me. Here are my specific questions: 1. At what ratio of xtreme/cleen to water do I use? 2. How much of the dissolved liquid do I put in my washing. I have a front loader, does that matter? 3. Can I use xtreme cleen with hot water or does it have to be cold? 4. Can i wear my clothing immediately after washing in xtreme cleen or do i have to wash it in normal clothes washing liquid first to get rid of all xtreme cleen residue? 5. Can I hand wash (with gloves) using xtreme cleen? I am eager to use it but as i know that it is highly toxic, i want to use it correctly. It cost me $180 to have it sent from the USA to Australia, so i would really appreciated your assistance. I look forward to your reply.
