Guest guest
- I completely understand how you feel. It is incomprehensible. To say that my world " shifted " in the summer of 2007 is an understatement. I still can't wrap my mind around this. Are you familiar with the MRF (Morgellons.org)? The founder, Leitao, founded the organization in 2002. Her young son had the condition and she was unable to get doctors to listen to her despite her background as a microbiologist at Mass General. (She had examined the scab from a lesion that would not heal on her boy's lip and found bundles of colored fibers under high powered magnification). Anyway, for some reason the MRF (Dr. Stricker) suspected the presence of agrobacteria and commissioned the study, the summary of which I previously posted. As the results were never journal-published, the study is being replicated. Equally as disturbing is the fact that these fibers have been run through the FBI database by the Tulsa PD and they do not match any of the 900 textile fibers, either synthetic or natural. Their chemical composition doesn't match any of the 90,000 substances in the FBI database, either. (This was Dr. Wymore's work). At one time the the MRF had dna studies done on the black specks and the results were " inconclusive " . This really needs more work. I am going to set up a scientific blog where ONLY credible scientific studies will be discussed. Not that the speculations that many people engage in have no merit, but I think our best bet is to stick with the science, try to understand all of it, and if possible connect them into a comprehensive theory. (One of the frustrating things is that the researchers all work independently).
