Guest guest
Hi all - I haven't introduced myself, but I have been browsing these messages for the last month. Your posts are all so helpful, and I spend most of my time on this forum!! I can totally relate to helpme_lintbugs who described the ordeal she was going through. Everything she said has been what I have experienced. I also relate to those going through the black speck/white speck/lint/lint ball/white threads/worm/miscellaneous bug ordeal. This is all very insane, and its very sad that we are all suffering like this! That being said, I am following a lot of the recommendations on this forum. I am still trying to get a routine down and I need to do more. I am doing ok with the body stuff in and out, but I'm trying to get a better handle on the environment. I found that the biggest help for me so far was the ozone generator. Whatever I am shedding seems to have some fungal properties, and the ozone cleared up quite a bit all in one shot. It's not the magic bullet, but it helped tremendously (thanks to golfnut)! Next, I purchased a black light and am shocked at what I see. How do I know what I am seeing are these lint ball things? I do see the very bright florescent blue specks..I assume these are it.. but I also see tons of lint-like stuff - could this also be the beginnings of a lint ball? or is this just plain lint? I want to make sure I get everything. What's the best way to clean walls/doors/ and floors (carpet and hardwood) of this crap? The doors are hard because the stuff is stuck in the smallest cracks. Also, how do you know if these things are dead? thanks for any tips you can give me.
Guest guest
Dear lintbugs too Hi I am Bill I am bitten by a bug that I have never seen .I can & #39;t find one piece of evidence , no lint or specks ..nothing , only bites & spreading bumps, sometimes the bites are 3-4 in a straight line, though I haven & #39;t seen those in a line in 1 year, when I did see theose I put sulfur creme on them & betadine & athletes foot medicie, they died in 3-5 days & vanished. I called Trisha yesterday at Esp botanicals ,she said homeade cedarcide kills the bug , then orange a glo floor wax & cleaner Trisha at esp botanical also said I can make my own cedar spray with 2 oz of cedar oil & 1 oz eucolyptous oil & 1 oz peppermint oil & 1 cup borax & 1 tablespoon dawn 1 gallon of hot water To melt the borax as you stir it (Oils are 5-$10.00 per oz at most heath food stores ) I hope the cedarcide works. Bugs stay away from all cedar , maybe a good way to keep clothes is in a cedar chest .... You think ? Would you let me know if you try it & if it works. Trisha has talked to probally 1000 & #39;s of people with lint, specks, lesions, bites etc God bless you, Bill. lintbugs_too wrote: > Hi all - > I haven't introduced myself, but I have been browsing these messages for the last month. Guest guest
Thank you, Bill! I get those bites sometimes too. This is ONLY my opinion (since I have no proof), but I believe they could be collembola. A very large percentage of us sufferers have these. I pulled 2 out of my skin with a lint roller, and they sometimes still get me. They move so fast you cannot see them move. I've gotten bites just like that in a straight line. Have you tried putting up any type of double sided sticky tape on cardboard around your house and above the floor to see if anything is caught? Some people have caught them this way. The fiber mite is my biggest headache right now.. hopefully the other bites will go away if I treat this one... we'll see! A lady wrote the www.stopskinmites.com website, and she claimed they were suffering from this bug, and yes, cedar does work! Thank you so much for the homemade spray information. I did buy Trisha's environmental spray (haven't used it yet) and I am going to have to get some orange glo. I will have to try the home-made stuff that you suggested too. Do you know if this stuff stains walls? My husband will have a fit if it does! I just started using the New Hope II soaps and balm, and it is incredible! Lots of black specks and threads get purged out of the skin with it. Thanks for your response! > > Hi all - > > I haven't introduced myself, but I have been browsing these messages for the last month. Guest guest
Hi lintbugs_too You asked if the cedar makes a mess, I heard it dosent. but I haven & #39;t used it yet . I plan to. Joan Wood used cedarcide and the $200.00 fogger , she said the mist hung in the air till morning when she pointed the fogger in the ac vent.. Nice..! automatic spraying-sounds dreamy ... Here is one of Joans post , I hope she won & #39;t mind me reposting it Re: Very big bugs and decontamination From: fritolay66 bird mites Date: Sun Jul 27 00:47:55 2008 places like beds and chairs. Be sure and wet them thoroughly top to bottom then let them dry. Do this every day for 3 days and see what an improvement you will have. DO NOT vacuum or mop for 10-14 days to give it a good chance to work. Ours still did not go away completely for about a week, but got less and less as days went by. We have been rid of them since Feb. Be sure and wear goggles and air purifier when you spray as it is strong and will give you a sore throat unless you do. Then shut house up and leave it closed at least 2 hours before you go back in. Be careful to take houseplants outside and cover you fish tank good if you have any. It is toxic to both. We also draped towels over our electronic items just in case, but don & #39;t think they would be damaged anyway. It also stops itches if the rub the cedarcide directly on itchy spots. It is important to spray whole house all at one time. Joan God bless you, Bill. ps Joan has been free of them for a long time, except one reinfestation and from grabbing an infested blanket. I willl never keep closed garbage bags again .. . pss not everybody had these great results, but it sure sounds like it would help most anybody . pss Great news the esp is helping on the skin ! , would you tell me how it goes with the esp .in the future ? (Maybe use theis same subject line so I can spot your post) , I am so intersted . I wonder about the Anu water , I think said it was good . lintbugs_too wrote: > Thank you, Bill! > I get those bites sometimes too. Guest guest
Hello lintbug. I like your name. =) What are you doing to get rid of these things on/inside your body? You say you are experiencing the same things as me... Do people start scratching whenever they are around you? Does your husband have this infestation as well? As of this moment, I have this non stop crawling, popping, sharp biting sensation mainly on my scalp, face, and arms. I dont have any open lesions, but I do have raised bug bites that go away fairly quickly, random scratch marks, rashes, the darn lints/fibers, and blood spots from scratching. I also believe collumbola is part of this whole mess, due to this jumping off/popping sensation but that is only 1 out of many other things that we are afflicted with. How did you find out that whatever you had on your lint roller was a springtail? I havent seen any as I believe that I have some microscopic ones living on me. As for my environment, I am currently using roach prufe as advised by Rita. It has been two days, but I dont feel that much of an improvement, perhaps a little? I still get crawling when sitting on my couch and carpet, and I still get sharp bites on my feet when in the bathroom. (However, i think this has soemthing to do with the fibers on my hair, as this happens more frequently when I brush my hair.) > > Hi all - > > I haven't introduced myself, but I have been browsing these messages for the last month. Guest guest
pleasehelp_lintbugs - Yea.. I copied you with the name. Your post was very familiar to me. I could have written it myself! I feel for you. I know what you are going through. One of the first things I noticed was all of the weird dust around me. And these fibers would just fly out of my hair and float before my eyes - everywhere I went! Are you getting the black specks/white specks too? I also get the raised bites in a row along with the " scratch marks " . Yes, people do scratch when I am around, and I just cringe when it happens. As I continue the body routine, its becoming a little better and it happens a little less... the problem is that the workplace is a place where I am becoming easily re-infected, so I feel almost like this is a losing battle. I have little control over parts of that. I suspect my husband has the problem too, but I am hoping not. He is just feeling a little itchy, and at first, we thought maybe dry skin and since his skin is sensitive, and his itchiness would be just where his clothes touch his skin, I thought it might be the borax I was using. So the verdict is still out on him. He does not get the rashes and bites I do.. just a little itchiness. I have the same symptoms as you, but I don't feel the buggers jumping from me. I admit that I have no proof it was collembola. I don't see anything in my home since they move so fast. I really needed a magnifying class to make out this bug, but the shape was similar to what I have seen collembola look like. If I get another one, I will be sending it to the entomologist so I can verify. Yes. the fibers will " bite " your feet if you brush them out of your hair. This used to happen to me constantly in the shower. It's important to aggressively treat your scalp. Since I am doing this and cleaning up the environment, I am not feeling them fall onto my feet as much. I am still picking them up off the floor with my socks since I am not vacuuming enough. As far as the body routine, I am using the ESP botanical products. I was using the New Hope I, but just switched to New Hope II. I use the soap and the body balm. The body balm helps moisturize the skin and seals it. I don't get the itching/crawling sensations much anymore since I have been using it. I also take baths frequently (5-6 times a week). I soak in various things, like epsom salts, salt, baking soda, alfalfa tablets, vinegar, enzymes, etc. I also have tried using Diatomaceous Earth as a body mask and recently, have tried mixing tea tree oil in olive oil and wearing that on my body one night while I slept. I purged a lot the next day. On the hair, I use either selsun blue, or a tea tree oil or lavendar or seabuckthorne oil shampoo, and sometimes I use the ESP botanicals shampoo. Sometimes I rub oil in my hair and sleep like that. The bugs I am experiencing are more interested in my sinuses, eyes, ears, and lungs now than in my skin.. so I'm still feeling a little miserable, especially in the mornings. I am in no way clear of the stuff in the skin yet... I haven't laid anything down in the house yet, which is a big mistake. We ozoned the heck out of the house, and I felt relief from biting for about a week.. but they are coming back now, and I got to get something down ... I bought some cedarcide and will probably use that, but the stuff is so expensive. I heard alot of good things about RP, but I have a dog and I have to be careful what I put down. This is why I haven't done a lot of that so far... I found another website, where a lady dealt with collembola. Her website is www.stopskinmites.com. I found her info quite helpful as well as the info in this forum. Is anyone else in your household affected? > > > > Hi all - > > > > I haven't introduced myself, but I have been browsing these messages > for the last month. Guest guest
Hey Lintbugstoo, I found that site long ago. I see some similarities, but the difference between what she has and I is the fact that whatever I have gets into my scalp/hair. I have found many tiny white fiber/thread looking things wrapped onto individual hair strands. I believe this is what is causing the moving sensation and the biting. They also get onto my eyelashes and eyebrows. It is also on my face and arms, but only visible if you are looking for them or in the sunlight. Also, in the sunlight, it seems like there is a puff of dust/lint that comes off my body. With all the creams, oils, bath, and such, they have moved onto my eyes, nose, and mouth area. I thought perhaps it was the demodex mites that were giving me hell, so I tried the ponds cream method, but that didnt work. And plus, that wouldnt explain the weird dust/lint ordeal. At night, I will have random coughing fits because I feel a tickling sensation. I am assuming this thing is causing it. How do you know you have them in your lungs? How long have you had this? Regarding the RP, I too held off on it because I have a dog and was afraid of poisoning him. However, I puffed my entire place, and then cleaned up the RP in a section of my place for him which he is kept enclosed in for the time being. I have also scheduled an appt with the Vet to have him checked out and to get some medication as he seems to be infected as well. As for infecting others, I live alone with my dog, so I only passed it onto him. Who knows if he has the same thing I do, but he is showing symptoms. He is constantly shaking his body as if trying to rid himself of a bugger, constantly scratching himself, biting at his legs, and rubbing his body on the floor, sneezing, and his energy level is low, which is not normal for my dog. One thing I am positive of is he does not have fleas. I have spent soooo much money on products and treatments that don't work, so I haven't tried the hope products yet as they are expensive. I have slathered myself in oil for a day to possibly suffocate these things, but that failed, and same goes to slathering sulfur from head to toe for a day. I notice though, that whenever I put any type of oil or lotion, I will have purging of black specks everywhere. Also, wherever there is itching or biting, there will be a black speck(s) in that area. I am also getting reinfected at my work. I will have black specks coming off my body throughout the day and the crawling is non stop. People who come into my office, and my coworkers all start scratching whenever they are near me or come to talk to me. Also, whatever I have attracts other pests to me, mainly gnats, fruit flies, and some type of tiny fast white fly. It is really all insane. Spewing from my body since the crawling sensation started: first dust, which is everywhere including my clothes, home, inside of my car, purse, etc..., then white lints/threads/fibers, next floaters in my eyes that look like these lints/worms. They are much bigger and different than the regular eye floaters and get in the way of my vision be it day or nighttime. Next came the blue/red/black fiber and some white fiber wrapped around some black thing, which I see through a microscope, and lastly, the infamous black/white specks. I don't know if I have mites or morgellon. I seem to have symptoms of morgs without the lesions. I went to a number of doctors who told me it was allergies, hives, and/or delusional, even as they were scratching themselves while talking to me! As per the doctors, there are no such thing as lint bugs or invisible infestations, the lint and black specks are just dirt and dust that everyone has and my rashes and blood spots are from scratching. My bites were not visible at the time because my bites get red and raised, but they go away fairly quickly. They refused to do any skin scrapes or tests stating it was not necessary. The only thing they did was glance at my arm, look at my scalp for a second, prescribe anti itch creams and allergy meds, and look at me as if I was crazy. The last doc I went to told me that she thought it was bird mites and gave me some medication which didn't work. I'll stop here as I can go on forever. Btw where are you located? I am in California, and I hear that California, Texas, and Florida are mostly affected. > > > > > > Hi all - > > > > > > I haven't introduced myself, but I have been browsing these messages > > for the last month. Guest guest
That website I think is still helpful, since we may also be suffering from collembola, and I'm thinking that her cleaning products may be helpful against the fiber things. She did mention in her blog she thought they were fighting different parasites, and one appeared to look like lint. There have been useful posts on here from others suffering from these same things, so we have hope!! A few have managed to eradicate them from their home environment and bodies. The thing to remember is that there is no easy fix. Nothing we will do once will work. We have to push on trying to eradicate them from our bodies and our environment, since the environment re-infects us and we re-infect the environment... I do think the ponds cream does *something*. I was using this religously on my forearms (I know that I have demodex - I have rosacea and KP everywhere), so I was working on that. One day, a boatload of hives popped up on both forearms. These were not hives, but turned out to be little cyst-like bumps under the skin. I killed off something with the ponds. A week later, I started purging black specks from the area, and this was the first time I noticed the black specks. I do not use ponds anymore since I am trying to stick to natural products. For the eyes, ears, etc - I'm still working on that. You can just buy a boric eye wash at the pharmacy and this will help. or saline solution for contacts. I use peroxide in the ears, and I use a nettie pot for the sinuses with just purified salt. All of this helps. I know they got into my lungs because a few times I felt some really intense burning in my lungs. I have been burning menthol crystals and inhaling some of that and that has helped. I am going to buy some sovereign silver to drop in my eyes and ears.. I just haven't done it yet. I still have an annoying floater in my right eye that hasn't gone away completely. I am thinking that the silver should fix this. For the mouth, I brush with ecodent, which has baking soda in it. I also rinse with Listerine. I am not sure the timeframe where all of this started. I think it was 3-4 months ago, but I didn't see black specks until 1 month ago. I was just seeing weird dust and a weird film on my skin up until then. I also had been suffering from sinus infections/systematic candida, etc. So I was a real mess! My dog is doing an occasional scratch or bite. I am unsure again if she is infected, just like I am unsure about my husband. I do know that when my husband was vacuuming with baking soda, something did bite her when he did that. She is on frontline and heartworm w/ a preventive dose of ivermectin. This would not help her if she was infected (the dose isn't high enough). I bought DE - it's good for parasites and worms - and have been feeding her that in her food at night. You might want to consider the same for your dog? Also, I rub her with bugarrest enzymes and DE occasionally. I want to give her a bath today with some tea tree oil shampoo for dogs. I found some doggie ear wash with tea tree oil at the pet store, and I have been putting that in her ears when she is itchy. I also use " refresh " eye drops in her eyes if I see that her eyes are bothering her. At the vet, you might consider getting your dog dipped for fleas. They have a sulphur/lime solution I've been hearing about which should help against these monsters. Maybe they could get her on ivermectin too.. In the meantime, spray her area with enzymes and rub her with it too. I need to confine my dog too - I haven't yet. Even if she is not infected, she is carrying these things around in her fur and re-infecting places I have cleaned. Since I have been rubbing stuff on her fur, I don't seem to feel them as much on her. I don't think your oil trick failed. If you had purging of black specks out of your skin.. that is a good thing. The problem is that there is no magic bullet for these things and we have to keep doing it and doing it until we are winning the battle. When I tried the oil, I itched and itched for at least an hour.. and then I felt complete relief! I even put the oil in my hair and wrapped it up with a towel and slept like that. It really works... I am going to try to do that at least once a week, maybe more if I feel the need. I don't believe the docs can do anything for us. I didn't even try. Have you been taking anything internally to help with these things? I have been taking salt/vitamin C, which has helped tremendously! I feel my sinuses draining when I do this. I had to cut back on the salt because of blood pressure, but I am still taking some. I also have started taking higher doses of garlic. Also, I am taking some parasite pills, which helped purge some stuff out in the beginning. It's not doing a thing for me now... Also, Pau D'arco tea helped purge a bunch out of my skin. There are a lot of things to try, but you have to get them internally as well. Also, many people believe there is a bacterial and fungal component to this problem, so you could be taking supplements for that. I also stick to a candida diet, which helps with this problem tremendously. For the hair and skin, you can try mixing some salt with selsun blue and clean your hair and body with that. A lot of people have had success with that. In the bath, I used epsom salts, baking soda, and alfalfa tablets, and that purged a lot out. I have also heard people use borax sometimes (be careful with that.. don't do too much) others have tried peroxide with salt and that purges stuff too. The New Hope II product does work. I bought her New Hope II kit and it comes with a bath soak, and I purged alot out using it. The body balm and soap also keep purging stuff out for me. Again, its not a quick fix, but it all helps. It's expensive, unfortunately, and nothing lasts me very long - I think I use too much of it. Every time I apply it, I get rashes in spots and stuff itches and itches and then it quits (I guess this is good....). The other thing. I don't know whether all we have are parasites or whether its morgellons (and parasites?) either. But, alot of the morgellons forums have useful tips on environment and body care. If you need some additional support (I could use it too).. you can email me at gigi021822 at dot com. > > > > > > > > Hi all - > > > > > > > > I haven't introduced myself, but I have been browsing these > messages > > > for the last month. Guest guest
Lintbugstoo, i couldn't help but to respond. I've been dealing since May05. What i have resembles what you have. Yes, the room full of lent especially when i would rub my arms white flakes would float everwhere, the crawling, biting, red bumps, black, blue, red lints, white rice like granuals coming out of skin; you name it. Like most in the beginning i would try to save everything by cleaning the house and trying different internals. Gradually over time i began to see that no matter what and how hard i tried things were not getting cleaned but worse and the only solution was to throw things away. 4yrs later; all carpets gone, %100 of all original clothing gone, all curtains - towels - washclothes - Anything fabric - GONE. Plus many other things that were baddly infected gone. I sleep on an air mattress - Thank God - that has been a great help. Most original furniture gone. I've come to like the shower curtains i use as window curtains now. At this point the overall infection in the house is down from a 9 - 10 to 4 - 6. I am not as bad as before but i'm still a factory of these things; yes the feet - scalp - skin - and other areas. I don't visible see the red and blue lints anymore. I don't have those white rice like things come out of the skin. i still have what i call 'dirty skin' and the dust in smaller quantities. and the black specks. These things move fast, crawl all over you, jump, and fill the air. Due to much spending over the years, i do a budget reutine of shampoo mixed with tea tree oil, new clothing constantly { thanks to places like Roses that have $5 pants and $2 -$3 shirts }; i keep ammonia spray bottles - it doesn't kill them but they don't like it so its a way to 'move' them when they get bad. And the normal sweep and mop. I keep body hair down to as low as possible; it seems the more hair i have the worse it gets - i look at it as human fabric. RF doesn't work for me. DE made things worse - the more of any kind of dust they like. I rubbed cedar oil on the skin and took baths with it. That mixed with tea tree made for a very relaxing bath but really didn't work for me. Deet causes them to react in a frenzy. Plus many other products i've tried that i wont bore you with. I tore out the carpet in the car, i would put in plastic seats if there was such a thing for cars. And yes, just as i was making way at home the work area wants to go off the charts. Your not alone. When i read these post especially ones like mine my eyes tear up, i know what were going thru and I do pray for everyone. If anything that i've done in dealing with this can help you and others in anyway to at least improve their daily quality of life, best to all and Success. Healing, Deliverance, and Recovery for us all. Mik > > > > > > > > Hi all - > > > > > > > > I haven't introduced myself, but I have been browsing these > messages > > > for the last month. Guest guest
I have the floating lint as well, along with some tiny whites things that fly. I have looked at them with my magnifyer, they actually have an antenna or either it is there head, it can make a complete turn, and all kinds of strange movements, and when I put my finger near it it reaches toward it. I didntthink I had anything that flew either--I just thought it was lint, it would survive through intense washing and drying. I am now throwing out all clothes and buying new--cheap stuff.. Mik, have you ever had these fibers analyzed by an eitomologist? Do you have any idea what the source of them are? I can think I am completely clean, and new clothes and they still show up quickly. Guest guest
Hi Rush I wonder about new clothes ...... I boil even my new clothes & heat treat new boots in a 36 gallon rubbermaid tub , with the lid ajar & with a vidal sasson hairdryer inside on low. it reaches 170-220 degrees with no damage to tub , cowboy boots , or indestructable vidal sasson hair dryer. The hair dryer also dries the clothes very fast when hung in an epsom & borax coated closet of bathroom . I can dry a pair of jeans in 35 minutes when pointed down on them from the top . I never burned anything with the hair dryer, except bugs . God bless you, Bill. Guest guest
Rush - The tiny white things that fly seem to attach to my eye lashes! Do they do the same to you? The threads that float - they are everywhere! I have gotten them mostly out of the laundry, not quite, but I've been soaking the clothes overnight in an enzyme cleaner before washing. I'm not successful every time. I still see some flying through the air when I pull clothes out of the dryer. But it helps. I bought some hospital-grade laundry detergent, but I haven't used it yet because my husband's skin is very sensitive - he couldn't even tolerate the borax I was using with the laundry. Every time I think I am all cleaned up and not feeling any itching, I see a little thread pop out of my hair. > > > > > > > > > > Hi all - > > > > > > > > > > I haven't introduced myself, but I have been browsing these > > messages > > > > for the last month. Guest guest
Mik - It sounds like so many people are going through this. I'm sure more than it is realized. I had this going on for quite a few months, and I was noticing more " dust " in the house and " lint " was flying off my head everywhere I went, but I didn't get tipped off that something was really wrong until I saw the black and white specks coming out of the skin!. Once I started doing some research, I realized this " lint " wasn't " lint " at all, and I have no idea how long it's been around me and in my house. These threads GROW. I was packing up my closet to get all of the clothing binned and packed, and on the very top shelf, there was a stuffed rabbit. That rabbit had stuck to it 6 long threads. How did that get up there? How long had it been there? How long has this stuff been around me? My house is filled with this lint stuff. Was it not bothering me before? If so, why now? My husband and dog are only a little itchy - not experiencing my symptoms and the bites and stings like I am. > > > > > > > > > > Hi all - > > > > > > > > > > I haven't introduced myself, but I have been browsing these > > messages > > > > for the last month. Guest guest
Yes it does grow, though it seems lifeless. Some time ago I left 2 contaminated winter jackets in a closet for months. Long red and clear threads were coming out of it very slowly over the months. Freaky. -requireshelp From: lintbugs_too <no_reply >bird mites Sent: Monday, July 13, 2009 3:23:40 PMSubject: Re: Blacklight question! Mik -It sounds like so many people are going through this. I'm sure more than it is realized. I had this going on for quite a few months, and I was noticing more "dust" in the house and "lint" was flying off my head everywhere I went, but I didn't get tipped off that something was really wrong until I saw the black and white specks coming out of the skin!. Once I started doing some research, I realized this "lint" wasn't "lint" at all, and I have no idea how long it's been around me and in my house. > > > > >> > > > > Hi all -> > > > >> > > > > I haven't introduced myself, but I have been browsing these> > messages> > > > for the last month. Guest guest
You will get better. I am much better, but not totally free from this stuff. From: lintbugs_too <no_reply >bird mites Sent: Monday, July 13, 2009 3:13:18 PMSubject: Re: Blacklight question! Rush -The tiny white things that fly seem to attach to my eye lashes! Do they do the same to you?The threads that float - they are everywhere! > > > > >> > > > > Hi all -> > > > >> > > > > I haven't introduced myself, but I have been browsing these> > messages> > > > for the last month. Guest guest
Hey Lintbugs, What is the name of the hospital grade detergent? Can you give us updates when you use it? Thanks. I have EXACTLY what everyone on this thread has. The darn lints and dust that spew everywhere from my clothing and from my body including hair and eyelashes. I have the accompanying reactions of crawling, biting, etc.. at home, but it is far worse at work. It is probably due to the fact that I dont/cant clean my work as I clean my home. Im with lintbug. I have always noticed the dust around, but I assumed it was due to the fact that I leave my windows open, and the fact that I have a crazy dog who likes to run around in circles. However, I couldnt explain why my clothes were full of dust, clothes that I just washed. If I poof my clothes in the sunlight, the amount of dust that would come out would equate to one of those RP dusters. Then, I noticed the lints in my eyelashes. Usually I would wipe it off, but I grabbed one to examine it, and the thing moved in a circle... It has been down hill since. crawling, biting, stinging, things coming out of my pores, those lints growing in length... Today, I had a horrible breakout of itching, crawling, and black specks at work. So as soon as I got home, I wiped my skin in alcohol, and literally the cotton was black. I thought perhaps I rubbed my arm on something dark, but the same thing happened to my other arm. I took a long bath this morning, and I sat in an office all day so there is no way I could have gotten so dirty. Has this happened to anyone? This was my first time wiping my arms down with pure alcohol. > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi all - > > > > > > > > > > > > I haven't introduced myself, but I have been browsing these > > > messages > > > > > for the last month. Guest guest
Pleasehelp - I believe it was called Xtreme Clean from Q based solutions. You can also inject it into the carpets and mattresses to clean them, which I've heard helped people. You cannot heat the stuff though. I am waiting before using this stuff. I bought a steamer that heats up to 295 degrees and am going to use it for areas before I try resorting to the chemical. I've heard that steamers have helped others, but only if its hot enough. You can make things worse if its not hot enough because these things like warmth and moisture. I agree with you that I am far worse at work. I can clean the area around my desk ok.. but I have to walk into common areas and conference rooms and I can't clean those. I guess its good that your body is expelling this. I have not seen stuff black like that yet.. mine just comes out in small tiny black threads so far. What kind of bath did you take? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi all - > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I haven't introduced myself, but I have been browsing these > > > > messages > > > > > > for the last month. Guest guest
Neet that you were able to see with your magnifiyer. I tried looking under my microscope at times and never could find anything living. I do remember earlier on seeing the dust make movements in the air that led me to suspect it a micro-flying something. After two doctors I havent yet tried anyother professionally yet. $$$. My little freezer from Walmart has become my new clothes closet. Its not the fix all for clothes, it just buys me more time before the clothes are no longer wearable. I have had kept some clothes in the freezer for over a month and when i pull them out they are crawling bad. Once the clothing reach a 'level' of infection nothing that I have tried is successfull other than the trash can. its in the trying different things that we find some things that help better; until the real Silver bullet arrives on the scene. Guest guest
I know what you mean. Thats what i call the 'dirty skin'. I can take a shower and under an hour later; i get a cloth and wipe my skin and its dirty, especially the areas where i feel them the most. I wonder about these things, i have acctually felt them jump off pans that have been in the oven at over 4oo degress. I have wondered how long can i 'hide at work'. I do what i can to keep them down for the protection of others, but work is a to large a place to control. How do any of you handle your work situation encognito??? Guest guest
lintbugs_too Yes, back in the late spring of 2005, i remember one morning looking around in my room and it was almost like snow falling; i would rub my arm and BAM - major snow blissurd. Then I noticed something very strange, as i was getting up there would be these lint balls on my sheets that were never there before. The fact that they all looked like something made them and they all looked the same helped me realize that something fishy is going on. Then came the million things crawling all over me as i slept. When i look back i wonder how long things were brewing before it all exploded. thanks for your reply.
