I decided I didn't want anything "traditional turkey" today (LOL) so I hunted down a turkey pot pie recipe on the 'net and this is the finished product. Not bad, since I "hate" to cook. I think it needs 'something' and mom said maybe more turkey, less potatoes... I'm thinking more veggies also, but it was good...

College-boy has been home for a week and will head back tomorrow before too late, since I have to drive back home

Middle son graduated from Driver's Ed, so now I have about 5 months before he can test for his license. They make them have the learner's permit for 6 months before they can test up for the license. That way, they have 50-60 hrs of practice driving in.

I think I made Jay nervous because I told him I had looked through all of the jewelry store ads from the Black Friday ad paper (TWICE!) and didn't see anything I liked in the stock jewelry there, or on these people's websites, so I want to design "my ring".... he said that sounds like a great idea, then I am not wearing something that 100s of other women in the world are wearing. COOL! He asked if that is expensive, to make a self-designed ring and I do not think so, I am sure like any jewelry you buy it all depends on the metal and the diamonds or other stones... so I will share what I am drawing, etc as things unfold. Heck, it's up to him to take it and run, right??

Weight isn't bad going into the weekend, following Thanksgiving, so if I can just keep things in check and move forward will be ok.

Right now, I am sitting on 13 lbs lost in 13 weeks, so am pleased!! WHOOOHOOOO!! I'd like more (like 2 lbs per week average) but cannot complain over 1 lb per week.

Hope you are all doing well and will check in as I can again. I get to go to CA next weekend to see my hunny and then we'll see how December goes from there.
