I went and got a 'real' haircut (read: not at Supercuts and paid $30 LOL) and talked with the girl a lot and really like her, so I made an appointment for a color "foil" in January.

Seriously. I haven't taken time for me (or spent the money) for a real professional salon haircut in YEARS and haven't done a professional hair

color for almost 20 years!!

So, 2012 is the year for me.

Speaking of which, I am making decisions for my health for next year to get a lot closer to or at "goal weight" - I am not so sure I have an actual target goal weight, but I have what would put me in a "normal" BMI range as an end all goal.

I went to my doctor this past week to talk weight loss and am going to make an appointment after the first of the year for a physical (haven't had one of those in 2-3 years so it's time) and we'll discuss where I want to see things go weight wise.

I've been half-heartedly seeing the nutritionist since the end of August

this go around and in about 17 weeks time I have lost about 13 lbs, so it's slow and steady going down the scale. Better than gaining, that's for sure, but still frustratingly slow...

I'd like it to be 2 lbs per week, but I'm not so sure that is realistic for me.
