As much as I try and think I can or will, I just do not think I will send more than one update a week. With 2 kids in sports and dealing with work and life, etc... I only have about 1-2 hours in the evening that I am willing to blow online and really, I should just push "shut down" on the computer and exercise or something. Especially if I haven't already that day, so Saturday/Sunday will be my day to get caught up in the group.

Sunday has been my weigh in day, but I may change that back to Friday or Saturday or choose another day. So far, it's looking like the scale will be down a touch this week.

Twice this week I have walked part of the way home. One day I walked 40 minutes and last night I walked roughly 30. I am thinking I need to go to a sports or physical therapist and have them watch me walk and see what I am doing. I know I am doing something to compensate for the right (surgery) knee and it's tweaking my left leg, but in the lower inside calf area. That's the best I can explain it. When I slow down, it's better, so I am thinking it's something to do

with walking too quickly.... weird. Anyway. Ok, walk slowly, save money and don't go to the therapist LOL!! Problem solved.

Dinner Friday: chicken bacon ranch artichoke de lite pizza from Papa 's

.... it was funny, I got one pizza and one cheezy bread sticks (whatever those are called) and told mom and the kid (DS16) that they could have 1/4 of the pizza and bread and if still not happy, there were hot dogs she grilled on the george foreman the other night they could have to supplement. This was when we thought DS18 might be here for dinner.

I ate my 2 slices of pizza and maybe 2-3 of the bread things and I was sort of satisfied, so I had a hot dog and then I knew I was happy.

Mother and DS16 both said they wanted more pizza and I said if DS18 isn't eating, they could have his 2 slices between them.

I guess I thought it was funny because last time I got 2 pizzas and bread and there was enough for everyone to have a slice or two the next day for lunch. With getting just one (and smaller, at that) pizza they all wanted more.

Today's breakfast: sausage, mushroom and a tiny bit of shredded cheese omelet.

I wanted a toasted honey wheat bagel - they were moldy

I wanted something else (bread ho here, you know it was carb related) - it was moldy

Settled for apple streusel bread toasted. Yeah, that's my mother's new thing from the bread store, so I had to try it.

Mother is gone today getting her snow tires changed out for regular tires. They're supposed to be off by April 1st (studded tires) but I think they may have extended the date. If they did, I am not sure why. We really have had no countable accumulation of snow since early Feb. If it posts to the group, here's a picture of our snowfall this year....

Yeah, we've only gotten "offically" 67.3" so far this season. The last big winter in 08-09 we got over 100 inches, I think it was... maybe 94"

Soooooo I cleaned the frige out! I'd really like one day that I take off work and the kids are not here and my mother is not here and I can clean out the pantry. I love her dearly, but there is some stuff in the cupboards and pantry that hasn't been touched in ages, even since we moved here over a year ago. I do not know why she has a hard time letting it go. I am sure it has to go back to the years when she struggled and didn't want to have to wonder/worry about food. We've lived here not quite a year and a half and she still goes to the food bank! She said it's because if she doesn't go every so often, they will take her off the list or something and she can't go back. I am surprised if that is true. I figure a food bank should be there for if you need it, not because you feel you will have to go or not be able to if you need it again.

I may need to call and ask them if this is true and if it is not, have them tell her that the next time she shows up. Sure, eventually we will use the stuff or even give it to my exdh and DS14 living with him, but still, that is not the point. If you need it, go... if you don't, leave it there for someone who does....

So there ya have it. My life in a nutshell for this week. I'll try to be on here during the week if I can, but in the meantime, know I am sending good thoughts and wishes your way.
