[Mindful i Mouse] Weight and BGs are UP UP UP

Yesterday was a good day. I had to run a few errands, bought: Chicken breasts, ground beef, fresh spinach, heavy cream, romaine, tomatoes, avocado, bacon, mushrooms, mini peppers, eggs, Dubliner cheese, cream cheese, lemons. I felt empowered to return to my diet, I felt good that my body wasn't feeling stuffed anymore and that my wedding ring was loose, that my stomach was not hard and bloated. I ate my 3 small meals for the day and stopped. I was even hungry before bed and smiled about that. I made a superb curry with chicken, mushrooms, peppers, onion, curry paste, coconut cream, chicken broth and just a touch of apple and a few cranberries. I made basmati rice for husband, I ate mine without. I regret that I didn't take a photo of the curry. I was able to drink 58 oz of weak tea, hopefully I can hit my goal of 78 oz today. Calories are still too high, and I can see where I can cut own today, I need to stay under 1100. However, the other numbers are bad. I did brave the scale this morning, and I admit it was hard to see it. Up 6.6 pounds, I am 235.6 on the home scale (I left my other scale on the truck). I know that I always immediately gain the high altitude weight, but I hate seeing it. I try to remind myself I would have had to eaten 23,100 extra calories in two days to have gained that as fat, high altitude increases the fluid volume retention in the body. The next number is worse, my BG this morning was 139. Husband refused to take his BG. He doesn't understand why I get on the scale either, but I would rather know and do something about it, than to pretend it's not happening. I am going to remain positive about this, I do still believe that I have averted a potential lengthy pattern of overeating by getting the treats all in on the first 2 days. Bacon and eggs this morning, turkey for lunch and ground beef and salad for dinner is planned. I want to cut my carbs as low as possible today. I have 1074 calories planned, with 12 in carbs, 6 in fiber. --
