It is harder to keep my calories down when home and when also cooking for my husband. Even having a salad as we like it with avocado and bleu cheese dressing sends my calories way up there. So does all the extras, like wine or pork rinds. Breakfast: Eggs and bacon and coffee Lunch: turkey patty, pork rinds and sour cream Dinner: beef patty, mushroom sauce, salad, wine for dinner. BG dropped from 136 in the morning to 94 before bed, but was back up to 117 this morning. This is the last night that husband can have any alcohol, tomorrow is his last day home and he must have no alcohol in his system when he hits the road on Thursday morning. So we will have an irish whiskey after dinner tonight and I will be making a low carb cheesecake for dessert. I have planned today's meals out: Breakfast: eggs and bacon, coffee Lunch: Dubliner cheese, wasa Dinner: shrimp and scallop scampi and fresh spinach After dinner: Irish whiskey & cheesecake (1/16th of the cake) After I drop him off at the truck, I am going to the Asian Market to look for coconut oil and cream. I will then drop my calories and up the fat and go back to using my small bowl to eat from. Overall, I am still feeling pretty good, no swelling or bloatedness. I am hungry before meals though and that bothers me. Since I am staying up later than usual, I am hungry before going to bed, but that is the only time. I cannot wait to change this back to how I like to eat. My husband really likes to have a salad with dinner, this throws my eating off. I like to eat the most at lunchtime, very little for dinner. The salad at dinner is too much. I prefer a salad on it's own for a meal. With a meal, ouch on my stomach. I did manage to drink 78 oz of weak tea yesterday! I am proud of that accomplishment. lol --
