Guest guest
I felt compelled to make the following Blog entry on my weightloss blog, I guess someone out there needed it . . . Post: Down another pound this morning. Relieved. I'm really sticking to it, telling myself "look, you've had your meals, just don't eat anyting else. I know you want it but you don't NEED it and it will HURT you if you eat it and you KNOW that so just DON'T!" For now, it's working. I did have one day that I said simply "I don't care" to that train of thought, and there will be days down the line when I will say it again, but I'm fighting hard for those days to be few and far between. What thin people don't get about fat people is we don't WANT to be this way, but genetics and a lifetime of bad habits make it hard for us to get out of the situation we've gotten ourselves into. Personally, I don't believe there is an obese person out there that can't lose the weight, but man, it's HARD. If you've never had to do it don't stand in judgment of those that are trying, even when they fail. You don't know how difficult this is. It is a fight EVERY DAY of our lives to lose weight. Our metabolism is fighting us. Our fatiqued bodies are fighting us. Enablers are fighting us. This is the hardest battle ANYONE will ever fight and it NEVER ENDS even when we think the battle is won and we've lost the weight. A new battle begins, one to maintain the weightloss. Think that's easy? THINK AGAIN! It's still a daily fight of cravings, enablers, skewed metabolism, fatigue, and more cravings to remind ourselves the harm of putting even one Cheeto in our mouths and the years of hard work that one Cheeto can undo. Sigh. Ok I'm off the soapbox I just REALLY needed to get that out I don't know why. On to pound #3! *~*~*~* "This is no longer about what I HOPE to accomplish.
