Guest guest
Sub-titled 's Saturday ramble I know there are folks out there with more to worry about than my Saturday ramble and weigh in, but you know what: I am here to break up the monotony of your day and hopefully bring a smile to your face for the 37 seconds it takes you to read it. So. I went to the doctor the other day and it was "gently suggested" that I walk 2 miles per day (ok, "I want you to walk 2 miles every day" is not exactly a gentle suggestion, it's more like an order to me, but I am trying to keep it positive) LOL!! That was Wednesday so I have had 3 days of this "forced to workout" mentality. How's it going...? I am alive. My knee is crabby, but no worse than without walking. I guess I just needed a kick start, huh.... Eating wise, sometimes we almost have to take a 180 degree turn and cut off all *crap* instantly, get the headaches, etc out of the system and then move on. So, I was crabby yesterday. It didn't help that it's been HOT here (90s) so hard to get comfortable and sleep at night as well as exercise and it seems like every person was being stupid yesterday. Oh and I am sure PMS/TOM type symptoms are in there too. But, I mean stupid questions. Can you put a better phone number here in the future type questions. I am like "omg are you serious, if you know there is a better phone number can't you just change it yourself??" type questions. So yeah.... I was getting so much more new work yesterday that I was having trouble getting the existing work done. A nice change from a year ago when our team was so slow with work we got 10 positions cut in my department, remember...? OH I don't remember if I told you, but one guy that got laid off got rehired!! 13 months later!! I was sooooooo happy to see him come back to work!! Ok ok ok, back to the "weight loss" topic.... I know any time you start "being good" and following a program you lose a nice amount of weight that first week because more than likely it's some water weight or something shift, but..... I released 3.2 lbs this week. Not lost, because I am not going to continue the vicious lose/gain cycle, they are gone for good. I did go back and find some pictures of me when I was in the 170 range and that looks ok, so that is what I am going to use as my goal weight for my tracker right now. If I can happily get under 200 that will be great, but we'll see when we get there. I hope everyone on the eastern side is safe and taking care and we're all watching and praying for you all. I've never experienced anything like that, so the pictures just amaze me (sorry!) Talk with you in a day or two. in WA 310 / 291.2 /
