New and looking for a buddy

I am new to this site. I have finally decided to give my weight loss the

attention it deserves. I am a mama to three amazing children, and for the past

11 years, they have been my focus. Now that they are all in school, I want to

do something for myself. The best thing I can do is to get myself healthy so

that they can continue to have a mom. I am off to have my very first physical

tomorrow. I have not had one since i was in high school. I figure it is the

first step to my weight loss. I am not goin to be following any fad dieting.

My plan is to cut my portions and to start walking. I have the Jillian

's 30 day shred. I did this one day and it killed me! lol. So, I am

going to work my way up to doing that again. I figure once my body is

accustomed to the changes in my eating and walking, then I can add that in. I

would like to lose 100 lbs. If I lose more than that, yay. If not, I am happy

with the 100. It will put me back at my high school weight.

I am looking for a buddy because I have the tendency to get off track. I do not

have a support system here. So its easy for me to fall back into old habbits.

I would love to be a support system for anyone who needs it. I look forward to

getting to know yall.

Welcome to the group. I am , 44 single mom of 3 boys (15, 17 and 19-to-be).... I have about a hundred or more lbs to lose too and right now, I am forced (LOL) to walk 2 miles a day by my doctor and am cutting out the crap white sugars, flours, unnecessary carbs.
