How's everyone's week starting off? Folks on the east side? Still thinking and praying for you all. Amazed by all of the pictures that we're seeing, because we just do not experience that here.

My week is starting off alright. My typical work schedule this year is 5 a.m.-2:30 or 3 p.m. with a 1 hr "break" in there to go get DS17 and take him to school. For now. DS15 rides his bike (he's the one that lives with exdh) and we may discuss carpooling in some manner when the weather changes to the point that he doesn't want to bike to school. We live further, so it's not an option for the kiddo that lives with me. His bike is fried anyway.

So I get home from work today. Mother had gone to the grocery store and bought hot dogs (I could eat them, but they're high sodium and fat, probably), 2 bags of potato chips and a box of Ritz crackers.

I put on my shorts and tank top, swallowed some water, grabbed my iPod and headed out for my walk. 6 days in. 2 miles per day. Survivin' it. Knee's crabby. Heck, I am crabby due to TOM/PMS ish feelings. It'll pass in a day or two.

Then I got home and was going to fix dinner and she (my mother) said to me "did you see what I bought you?"

.... so she continued: Death By Chocolate ice cream.

Geeeeeeeee thanks! 6 days in to the new regime and she's buying me ice cream, hot dogs, potato chips and Ritz crackers

Excuse me while I go scream: arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

THIS is one of the reasons I am tempted daily. OK, the hot dogs, chips and Ritz crackers I could care less, but if you caught the part of PMS/TOM ish week... yeah, the ice cream is calling to me:

yyyyyyy

yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

KELLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

< be sleeping with the pillow over my head tonight LOL!! >

OK, I had 2 bites of it. That won't kill me and hopefully that will at least curb the need to go binge on it in the middle of the night in the dark kitchen.

Hope you all have a great week!
