Thea, to answer your question as to why my DR has me on a low fiber diet, is because I have had IBS for going on about 30 years and with this Dr and all the tests that I have had he has told me that I needed to put the good bacteria back in my stomach. The reason why I can't eat salad a lot of the time is because of the roughage. I am also lactose. It is not a good thing to talk about but when I have to go to the bathroom I can not hold it and it is caused by some of the things that I eat. I do not eat processed food as it bothers me. I have had these problems for many years and just want to be health again. I work at our local Wall Mart and I am on my feet at least 6 hours out of the day. I know that I do not exercise like I am suppose to but when I get home from work I am so tired and feet and legs hurt that I have to sit down. These may be excuses but I am in constant pain.I do take Vit D and fish oil. I have to get the mega red tablet as the one I take I have a hard time to swallow it. I have just turned 67 and I also have people at work tell me that I am not that age. My son tell me I don't act my age. I am very active. I have three dogs and take them out to walk most night.I hope that I have explained a little of my situation. I am going to focus on me, even if it means that I have to walk away from things. Again thanks for listening. If you want to ask any questions please go ahead. Donna
