Guest guest Posted April 7, 2011 Report Share Posted April 7, 2011 Yesterday, I was a bit stuffy upon waking up, but all in all, I do feel better. I think the cold has passed. BG was 104. I ate a lot the day before, but all low carb. I drank 2 rums with cream on Tuesday night, on Wednesday, I decided that I would pour the remaining 1/3 bottle down the drain. A sad waste of booze, but my body just is not doing well with it. I am not feeling optimal at all. I want that good ketosis feeling back, that thin and energized feeling again. Yesterday's meals: 6am: coffee with cream 8am: 3 sunny side up eggs 1 gallon lemon water throughout the day. 11am bowl: pork sausage, spinach, tomatoes and cheese 5pm bowl: meatballs, Portuguese sausage, stir-fry veggies 8pm bowl: meatballs, Portuguese sausage, stir-fry veggies Last night I watched a film from the 1950's. In it, a man was eating a candy bar: Look at how small that candy bar is! I have gotten use to seeing the mega king size candy bars at the truck stops, but in the past, they were not big at all. Just musing on portion distortion. I was a busy bee yesterday! I went through all of my clothes, I ended up with 4 bags full of clothes to donate. Some were too big, some fit but I didn't like enough to keep and I got it down to what fit in my suitcase! Imagine all that the clothes in the world that you own, including nightwear and undies all fit in one suitcase? I am tickled. Me, who use to have a walk-in closet full of clothes I did not wear because they were all in too many sizes that did not fit. i have one box of clothing in size 12, that I am keeping for a reference point. When I come back from Hawaii, I will go through those and most likely toss them, as I am sure they will not be anything I would want to wear again. Still, I need to know that I made it back into the clothes I use to wear. I set my wedding dress aside, I will put that on this weekend. I also sorted through my jewelry and packed a small box to take with me. I did a trial run on filling the suitcase and backpack, so far, a few adjustments and I should be good to go. I needed to know what would go in the next box I am sending to Hawaii and everything should be done and ready to go. I went through what DVD's I want to send too. I have accomplished far more than I expected and I am so pleased. I noticed that once I was busy with my project, I forgot to eat until I felt a sharp stab of hunger. I think I could have managed on 3 bowls today, but because I ended up staying up late, there was the 4th bowl. I will get there soon. This morning, my BG was 110….and I was NOT in ketosis, even though it’s been 3 days of low carb. I feel bloated and my hands are swollen, my face still puffy. I drank a gallon of lemon water yesterday, so I am confused about what is going on. Today, I am getting out of the house and walking.
