Guest guest
This morning husband asked me (quite out of the blue) " you're eating 2 sausages for dinner and ....what else? " I said just the two most nights. I sit behind him in the truck, so he doesn't see what I eat unless he turns around. He seemed concerned and then said " I could NEVER live on 2 sausages for dinner! I told him it's not like I went from normal eating to eating less overnight, that it took a very long time to train my stomach to take in less. He asked if I was always hungry and I was surprised that he thought when I would say I was hungry, he thought it was just what we say and not really mean. He shook his head and swore he could never do that, but I sensed that he was bothered by it for some reason. Either he is relating it to what he is eating, or he is thinking that next week the company doctor will be checking his weight, or he somehow got a perception of me losing weight. I noticed he's been touching me more often, more affection, more tickling. Just not sure why my dieting suddenly crossed his mind. We had another long distance between lunch (he wanted to eat before 11am) and dinner at 7pm, so I had the 2T of peanut butter in-between. That stuff really saves me but at 200 calories, it also keeps my numbers up there. I came in at 1099 calories yesterday, which, for the first day of the month keeps my average (lol) right on target. I won't be posting any more of my menu's until I eat something different. These are the groceries we have now and until we hit the Yard next week, it's stay the same, depending on the peanut butter. i am out of my Italian salami, but have another brand on board, one that I am not all that fond of, but I can't be choosey right now. I don't usually show too many trucking photo's on this blog, but here is where we picked up the pineapples and grapes in NJ: I was fascinate with the ship. My grandfather was a ship's captain when I was a child and I got to spend a few summers on board a freighter. I love the sea, ships and all that goes with it. As awful as the day was, as gloomy and rainy as it was, this sight cheered me up! I need a life, don't I? lol -- Posted By i Mouse to Mindful i Mouse at 3/02/2011 06:15:00 AM
