Guest guest
Hello Friends, I am sorry I have not been here (for me, let alone for you) this past few weeks or so. I am on survival mode through the weekend. This is it: packing up DS18 and moving him off to the college dorms tomorrow. Yesterday, was a few last minute errands and he started packing LOL!! Nothing like waiting til the last minute. I woke up at 2 in the morning to go potty and he was standing there boxing up some stuff and I said "I am going to miss you" and went back to bed. Have a 200+ count box of kleenex for the drive home alone tomorrow. I have been treading water as far as exercise and eating "right" have gone and I need to figure something out that will work that I "can" (read: will) do to start getting the scale moving again. My knee has it's good days and it's bad days and I know it is more due to having extra weight on me than because there is something "wrong" with my knee per se. I think I am going to go back to the nutritionist after the younger boys start school (8/25) because it is close to work so I could just take a long lunch 1-2 times a month. I was doing my best a year ago when I had that accountability and support. Maybe I'll call Monday and make an appointment for Friday 8/26, ya know...? It's either that or put myself into some kind of counseling or back at weight watchers. I have a couple of weeks to decide. I know what I need to do: get off the crap carbs and "sugars" (all the white stuff that we know and love and become addicted to that starts fueling the defeats) Exercise will fit back in after that. Right now, if I can walk, I go a little bit each day. If not, I take it easy. I know I "should" do something, but right now this is the way it will be. Talk with you soon, in WA
Guest guest
I hope DS transition to college goes well.
