Hugs, Sapphyre!

I didn’t know what to do when both my husband and I lost our jobs at the school. The doors simply shut down. I was lucky to work for my daughter as her nanny so I could keep our mortgage payments on time, while my husband went to trucking school. There wasn’t any jobs in accounting where I lived and so the few times I checked, there still wasn’t any. It’s been strange to be unemployed for so long, but I am guessing I am “retired†at this point. Except for my employment with my daughter for the upcoming year, I doubt I will work again. Funny, when a door closes, another one opens up and a new world emerges! Have a go at that book!

Subject: Ok ... REALLY Getting A Fresh Start ...

Friday is my last day at work, I'm being laid off. I'm petrified, but there's nothing I can do but look for something else. I'm excited in a way that I can devote 100% of my time to my weight, when I was off work before this job I was doing great. Of course, this job is so stressful and my boss so hateful I'm grateful he's laying me off so I can get unemployment, not outright firing me. So hopefully something better will come along. In the meantime I'm focusing in me, and finishing my first novel.

ACK! Did you have any warning before this week? I thought you were

the last one left, or one of just 2?

I know you complained about the job (Well, the boss, actually) since

you started there a few years ago, so I guess it *is* a blessing in

disguise. It's just so hard to find *any* job right now.

Well, all I can say is Good luck on both the job hunt and the novel.
