Wellllllll........ I am back from my trip to CA to see hunny. I *did* get promise ring'd (LOL) and no there is no date set, that's why it's a promise ring and not an engagement ring right now.

If you follow me on either FB or my personal blog, you may know some of what life holds for me starting this weekend: middle son (DS16) is moving back in with me/us this weekend so it could be a little chaotic for me to try to maintain an online life. I am still on the daily digest from when I was out of town and probably won't switch back for now until I see how things can and will go.

For those of you that don't know: my two younger sons have lived with their father (exdh) for about 5 years now. I have felt "this" brewing for awhile and figured it would be younger son ending up back with me but it turns out to be middle son. Do I hear bets being placed over when youngest will come live here too? LOL!!

Anyway.

Weight -wise, doing good, been losing slowly this month, which has been the plan. It's my goal to lose 5 lbs per month and I am at about 1/2 of that... so maybe a little slower than I would like, but at least not gaining.

Knee is crabby. I am sure it is the cold that is bothering it more than anything, but did I tell you how the appointment went with the surgeon's office went? The surgeon is in Africa and will be gone for a total of 3 months, due back at the end of Feb, so I saw the Phys Asst. He read the surgery report and said "well, I have seen people have what you have wrong with your knee get a new knee".... youch! So, do x y and z and if it's still not happy see the surgeon after his return. Definitely do not want "a new knee" so will have to pursue all other options. Working a little bit with the exercise bike as weather allows. Yes, I know, the exercise bike is indoors, but it is also determined by how much shoveling I have to do, etc.
