Guest guest
Hi Sapphyre, I have to agree, it takes commitment. Motivation is temporary, commitment is permanent. I am on my 486th day of dieting and changing my body weight. If I can do this sitting in a truck and walking past candy bars and snacks three times a day and not eating them, you can do it too! I was watching The Biggest Loser (it's about TIME they revealed the new trainers) and caught on to something Bret said ... about having a comeback. Bouncing back after a defeat and succeeding. So that's what I'm doing. I watched Heavy Monday night on A & E and was again shown that no matter what size you've gotten to, accomplishing a healthy goal weight is possible. Yes it takes a lot of HARD WORK and committment. And BING! There's that word, the one thing I'd really forgotten when I started this whole journey. I have to COMMIT myself to doing this. As disciplined as I have to be I have to be committed to the goal. I'm reaffirming that committment ... right now. I have to learn from the past, and forge on to the future. I'm not going to be like this forever. I refuse. So have a great week and may all our weighins be happy ones! *~*~*~* "If I look down the road and see how far I have to go, I may get discouraged. If I overthink every aspect of what I need to do to succeed I may give up. If I focus on just today and make it as perfect as I can, I will succeed." -Sapphyre
