Guest guest
I didn't see the surgeon today because he is off galavanting (sp?) in Africa for another 6 weeks, so I saw the PA and he read my surgery report, I told him what is happening, he bent, twisted, pushed and pulled on my knee. Then, he talks with me: "I've seen people that had what you had wrong get new knees".... isn't that exciting!?!? LOL! So, I am to give it 6-8 weeks, if it's still bothering me a lot, see the surgeon when he returns and go from there. Oh yeah, and start to ride an exercise bike.. =D Yay: I was thinking of getting one now that Christmas is over and all of the fitness stuff is on sale, remember?!?! Anyway. Welcome back to the winter wonderland: we got about 8" of snow today, supposed to turn to rain tomorrow through the weekend (40s for temps) and be slop. Sighhhhhhhh.... How's everyone doing "down south" and "back east"...?? I'll talk with you all next week sometime...

Did you eventually get to see the surgeon for a better exam and prognosis? >Oh yeah, and start to ride an exercise bike.. =D I really wish I could get rid of my treadmill and get a recumbent bike, but there's no way to fit one in this apartment. The mini-cycle I have is *okay* but if I sit the wrong way in my chair or if the chair wiggles while biking (computer chair) then when it's all done my back hurts, negating the benefits of the workout. >Welcome back to the winter wonderland: we got about 8" of snow today, supposed to turn to rain tomorrow through the weekend (40s for temps) and be slop. Sighhhhhhhh.... Ah, remember those "bad old days" of January? Unfortunately, we're *still* in the 40's at night around here! Today (April 15) is the day the landlord can legally turn off the heat, yet last night we were still bundled up under quilts and today I was wearing a sweatshirt inside the house. Will Spring EVER get here?? Sue in NJ where we're getting more rain tomorrow (sighhhh, indeed!)
