Yesterday, I hit the nuts twice. They are habit forming, but I don't know why. Did you know that if you really take the time to notice how mixed, salted and roasted nuts taste, that it is actually so homogenized that you cannot discern the actual nut's unique taste? I can tell the difference in the texture, but roasted and salted, they all tasted the same. Now when I eat raw nuts, they are sweet and unique tasting. I like the crunch of roasted nuts, but not the flavor. I never knew that before. Also, the salt is annoying and burns the mouth if you eat too much. Did you know that eating one food at a time tastes better than eating food combined? I use to take my fork at skewer several pieces of food together and take a bite. So how on earth did I really taste what was eaten? It really is like creating a new food. The individual flavours get lost in the combining. I am going to pay more attention to this as I eat. BG this morning was 104. Dang it. I remember that it took me awhile to get it back down after the December home time, so this must be connected with that. Yesterday's meals: The calories are too high for weight loss, I need to lay of the nuts. I feel pretty good today, a bit more clear headed and refreshed. I really like the Crystal Lite sugar free candies. They have a fresh taste. --

Hunny does this, he calls it the "perfect bite" to have all of the flavors at one time. I am one to more eat all of one food, then move on to the next, not sure why I do that....
