Made it through the second day of sitting. The worst of it was sitting at a meat processing plant where there no restrooms. Nope, just one portable outhouse that men used, and I can tell you it was so disgusting that I chose to pee out in the open rather that step foot in that plastic stinkhole. Yep, in front of the highway, in front of other truckers, it was something else to have to do this, but I had no choice. We are sitting waiting for the load to be finished. These are the hardest to deal with. I wonder why meat packing plants could care less about the truckers who often have to sit in an empty field for 2 or 3 days waiting for them to load the truck and then not even provide a restroom or running water. This is where I had to…..you know. That’s the highway to the right: and this guy watched me like I was a reality TV show. I am in a good frame of mind though. Husband and I kept each others spirits up with teasing and tickling and acting silly. Got to have some sort of entertainment. I ate a little more than usual for dinner last night, with my usual two chicken sausages, I added a half a can of green beans and a sprinkle of crumbled bacon and a drizzle of olive oil on it. It wasn't really worth the extra calories, but then I decided to make a dessert coffee, and that was definitely worth it. Just creamer and a tiny sprinkle of stevia. It really hit the spot for a " treat " . I remember all the adults in my family always having coffee in the evening. I think I may take up that habit. I only drink one cup in the mornings, and one in the evenings may be just the thing to provide the enjoyment of having something without it being a heck of a lot of calories. Of course, not on the truck, I can't afford the extra water and cleaning to make 1 cup of brewed coffee. Just once in awhile and then maybe more often on home-time. I am definitely bringing my French press to Hawaii. I ended the day with 1100, but that is ok. Tomorrow is weigh in day. I like to try and guess if I have lost weight or not. I think I may have, I feel no sense of heaviness or bloat. Wedding ring slips off easily. I haven't touched the salt shaker all week. I feel good, rested and other that an emotional swing for Valentines Day, I feel past that now. BG's are hovering in the 80's. Still in ketosis. All should be ready for at least a pound down. I am working on copying my weekly weigh in's for a page on the blog so there is a timeline. This is what I have to add to my blog, although the spread it is from is far more detailed, I was too lazy to copy it all: Beginning Weight 317 Sept 26 2009 September 2009 Week 1 - 307 1647 AVG calories October 2009 38 net pounds lost Week 2 - 292 1320 Week 3 - 285 1255 Week 4 - 284 1229 Week 5 - 280 1190 November 2009 51 net pounds lost Week 6 - 278 1177 Week 7 - 274 1741 Week 8 - 271 1173 Week 9 - 268 1278 December 2009 53 net pounds lost Week 10 - 272 1152 Week 11 - 271 1102 Week 12 - 272 1177 GAIN Week 13 - 267 1839 January 2010 60 net pounds lost Week 14 - 267 1422 Week 15 - 270 1081 GAIN Week 16 - 270 1163 Week 17 - 264 1105 Week 18 - 260 1591 February 2010 62 net pounds lost Week 19 - 266 1372 GAIN Week 20 - 261 969 Week 21 - 259 1053 Week 22 - 258 1435 March 2010 68 net pounds lost Week 23 - 262 1506 GAIN Week 24 - 254 1278 Week 25 - 254 1070 Week 26 - 253 1182 April 2010 66 net pounds lost Week 27 - 253 1161 Week 28 - 255 1542 GAIN Week 29 - 248 940 Week 30 - 246 1138 May 2010 69 net pounds lost Week 31 - 247 1164 GAIN Week 32 - 246 1222 Week 33 - 245 1363 Week 34 - 253 1501 GAIN Week 35 - 252 1713 June 2010 81 net pounds lost Week 36 - 249 1018 Week 37 - 250 1067 GAIN Week 38 - 241 981 Week 39 - 240 1023 July 2010 80 net pounds lost Week 40 - 239 1306 Week 41 - 246 1927 GAIN Week 42 - 242 1852 Week 43 - 243 2100 GAIN Week 44 - 241 1860 August 2010 76 net pounds lost Week 45 - 1217 (in Hawaii and did not have a scale) Week 46 - 1683 Week 47 - 1956 Week 48 - 1716 September 2010 76 net pounds lost Week 49 - 245 2687 GAIN Week 50 - 245 1981 Week 51 - 245 Stopped calorie counting Week 52 - 244 1920 October 2010 80 net pounds lost Week 53 - 245 2528 GAIN Having mini binges Week 54 - 244 1707 Week 55 - 239 1324 Week 56 - 239 1338 Week 57 - 237 1300 November 2010 85 net pounds lost Week 58 - 237 1369 Week 59 - 248 1622 GAIN Week 60 - 237 1405 Week 61 - 232 1050 December 2010 75 net pounds lost Week 62 - 232 1231 Week 63 - 242 2273 GAIN Week 64 - 247 1981 GAIN Week 65 - 249 2069 GAIN January 2011 81 net pounds lost Week 66 - 242 Stopped counting calories Week 67 - 237 1334 Week 68 - 236 1434 Week 69 - 235 1416 Week 70 - 236 1154 GAIN February 2011 Week 71 - 235 1496 Week 72 - 231 1235 I am currently on week 73, and this only goes to show that I did make it to the 230's quite a while ago (week 40) and how frustrating it is when the gains started taking over. The average calories fluctuate enough to prevent any stalls, as some insist is necessary, but I believe that my body works best on a steady calorie average. Some of the gains are simply fluid retention, as the calories were too low to case a gain, but I can see when I had those home-time highs, they definitely increased my weight. I tried to look at the data objectively, but other than thinking back on how each pound lost seemed like a hard won battle, and that it has been an up and down rollercoaster ride for far too many months, I am not really sure why I keep all this information. I suppose I am always trying to prove to myself something is happening, it's recorded, it's there, plain as the nose on my face. lol. I noticed that I haven't taken body photo's lately, I think I will the next time I take a shower I will. By looking at this information, I realize I am not doing as well as I could be. This new year has started out right, I intend to keep it on track! --
