Guest guest
I would just like to know what made them think it could be pinpointed to the diet soda in particular? Not only are the sodas made with different artificial sweeteners but each has it’s own array of chemical colourings and flavourings. What else were they consuming? Where’s the control? This was a false conclusion to a weak study. There are plenty of reasons to quit or lower the consumption of soda pop whether full of sugar or not, it’s nothing but a chemical concoction. But I read about this study and it is a bad one. In this study, 2500 people were followed, taking a look at those who drank multiple diet sodas daily and compared them to those people who didn't. Now here's the shocker. According to the results of this study, those people who regularly drank diet sodas had a 61% greater risk of having a heart attack or stroke than the people who didn't. WOW! That is news, huh? Not to mention...scary news! Love,

You can take the exact same study and get 2 diametrically opposed conclusions, depending on who's interpreting the results.
