There never is. I remember back when I had lost 120 pounds and

men were falling all over themselves to ask me to be their

woman, how shallow and irritated I was that they always went on

total opposite of the men I have known before, and yet this one

little thing, this one little tiny piece of information that I

would so like to know, does he or does he not think of me as at

least pleasant to look at? Is there not some kind of law of

attraction?

Perhaps he loves you no matter what you weigh and assumes you know

that? Come on, the guy has stuck with your through thick and thin,

literally, and hasn't said one word about your appearance. Most

women would kill for a man like that! Most women would be royally

pissed if their husband harped on them about their appearance and

told them they "loved them more" once they lost weight! Appreciate

what you have!

Thanks Sue, yes, I know you are right, I am indeed blessed. He’s the best I have ever known. It’s my egotistical selfishness that gets all frazzled. I am trying to work through these moments of self doubt and what it means to lose weight at this age.. I just don’t want to repress anything that surfaces this time. I am a great repressor, taking it on the chin and never saying a word. No more. I let it come up and bubble over and hopefully move on. This one subject through is the hardest one for me.
