Hi my friends,

I just got back from Lubbock and am extremely tired, but am the proud

granny of little Lillian Maycee born by C-Section on Saturday Sept 14 th.

It turns out that Kristi was one of those women that doesn't dilate no

matter what. We put her in the hospital Friday night and they gave her

something to soften her cervix. By Sat morning it had not changed in the

least. They gave her pitosin and even though she was having

contractions, her cervix never changed and was closed up tight. Their

Dr. told them that he didn't think she would ever dilate and that some

women were just that way. Anyway From start to finish it took 8 min.

and she is absolutely gorgeous!! I will send a picture as soon as I can.

She weighed 6 lbs 15oz and was 18 1/2 " long. Dark brown hair, olive

skin and we will see what color eyes, but probably brown. I spent the

last 6 days with them and helped Kristi while she is healing. She is

doing quite well, the baby is nursing good and sleeping well.

Thank all of you for all your prayers.

Have I missed anything while I was gone? I set my computer to no mail so

am kind of in the dark. Hope everyone had a great week. I'm leaving

town again tomorrow and wil be bak Monday.

Love you all,

Hi Ena! Glad to see you back here! I wish you great success for the coming 12

weeks.

Park

I'm back!

Hi everyone, I'm back on the boat now after being apart for close to

4months. I'm happy to say that although I have not lost any more weight, I

haven't gained back none of the lost weight!! I remain at 180 (better than

the 215 I was at b4). I have started going back to the gym yesterday. Once

again, I know I'm going to have a struggle with the food issue but I hope

this time I do better. I never did an official challenge as I was hoping,

but that's ok, I know I've won a personal one that of seeing myself losing

this weight and keeping it off during a stressful time. But anyways, glad

to see you all!

Ena.

Hi Ena - I'm doing pretty well. I have noticed these past few weeks that I have

been cheating a bit. Mind you, I have NEVER cheated in the entire 9 months so

this is unprecedented. I think I am feeling so good and so close to where I

want to be that I figure it's okay. For example, last night after my kids'

soccer we went out to a burger place with the whole team (3-5 yr olds). My kids

were so excited they could only eat about half their chicken nuggets and fries

(and this is after being forced). So I put all the leftovers in a bag and ate

all the fries on the way home!!! There were prolly only 1 cup or so, but OMG.

This is something I never would have done. I am not upset about it as I have

been on track all day today, but these little cheats have intruded 3 or 4 times

in the past couple of weeks. Perhaps this is why I have been at a plateau?

I'm so glad to hear from you Park! I know what you're talking about with

cheating, that has been me this whole summer! My area grew overnight and

since there was no staff I was there 6 days a wk 14hrs a day and ate at

SeaWorld every single day. My eating habits returned to the bad ones....

one or two meals a day, but I noticed I was making better choices of food.

I wasn't able to go to they gym, but SeaWorld became my gym, I walked that

sucker front to back left and right!! I think that's why I have been able

to maintain my weight although my nutrition wasn't ideal, had it not been

for all that walking I was doing (most of my shift was walking around the

different restaurants, my office and handling guest's complaints!) most

likely I would have gained the weight back! (oh no!!).

Now I live by myself, moved out two months ago, and boy is it an experience!

For now I'm going to start with the exercise part of it, most likely if you

guys see my brand new pantry you would kill me, so I'm not even going to

tell you what I have... although I must say, there's no snack food, candies

or sweets! I am looking for a 2nd job to help me with trivial expenses...

like food you know *laughs* and gas... this is tougher than I expected but

I know that I will get thru it, with God by my side.... I know I will be

fine!

anyways, nice to see you!!

ready for a summer challenge, I was just thinking of that myself

today!

Take care,

Hi Dani! Glad you're back. I have been away for a long time too,

and am trying to get back for at least a little time every day. I

have been off track on both nutrition and exercise lately but am

going to do a triathalon in August so need to get motivated again!

My little girls have been keeping me hopping and my elderly parents

have been keeping me busy driving them food and taking them to

doctor's appointments and emergency room visits after a multitude of

falls....... DH still traveling quite a bit (in London this week)

and a major house remodel looming to begin in the next couple of

months. Life is never dull. We've had a few gorgeous days here in

Seattle so my energy level has been quite high thank goodness. Keep

posting - missed you!

Hey Maggie, , Park, Kathi, Stasia and everyone else,

It's so good to see a bunch of familiar faces. And, wow, Stasia,

you're back, too!! That's awesome. Yes, summer is just around the

corner (even in LA, it gets warmer come June and July). I'm really

looking forward to posting here again. Thanks again for the warm

welcome back.

Hi Marta!

I'm glad you have a good feeling about this job. Can you share with us where

it is -- or is it secret for now? This looks like it would end your long

commute -- is that right? I hope you get the job! I'm sure you wowed them with

the suit, earrings and ring -- and your tiny self!

Hugs and blessings, Ann

I should have asked that question, huh? Well, I know they will send

me a letter if they reject me. I don't know how soon they will tell

me if they want to offer me the job.

I was offered one week in which to interview and I chose the last

day of interviewing. On the sign in sheet there was someone for

Friday, but no others, except a dentist. If they dont have many to

chose from that would up my chances. Also, they liked the fact that

I am local and have no intentions of moving away.

I will need to know asap so I can start my paperwork for the

insurance companies and the hospital admitting priveleges.

Marta

not to mention that thirty day notice I must give.
