Guest guest
Yesterday, we woke up to a rain/snow mix. It was (thankfully) more rain than snow, but still: the first of the season! Sigh. For dinner yesterday, I put boneless skinless chicken breasts in the crock pot with cream of mushroom and cream of chicken soup and cooked all day and then served with rice and broccoli. It was a hit: no leftovers! Not sure yet what I will concoct for dinner tonight, but thinking another crock pot scenario. I love my crock pot, it's easy to do, easy (sort of) to clean up LOL!! I lost .8 this week, which is better than nothing or a gain, so I will take it. It may have been more, but I was super hungry yesterday and ate an entire bag of microwave popcorn, so maybe sodium was playing into things. Or from the soups in the crock for dinner last night. I know you *can* get low sodium soups, but I know they were "regular"... Onward and downward. Not sure what is on the plans for this week other than my cousin and his wife are coming over from Hawaii next weekend so we'll probably do an early Thanksgiving of sorts with them. If not a meal, definitely a get-together to visit. Make it a great new week!
