Well, I managed to lose 1 lb for the month of January. Not a huge loss, but at least a loss. To get to my 60 lbs for the year 2011, this means that I need to step it up and be able to lose 1.25 lbs per week now. Gonna have my work cut out for me.

But, hunny bought me my Strong Knees DVD, so I am able to build up my knee/leg to be stronger :-)

It's done by a physical therapist to avoid injury, etc... love the "7 Minutes to Save Your Knees" segment

Steps-wise, I won't know until after tomorrow night how things look, but I am thinking I averaged 11000 steps per day.

The next four months will fly by, I am sure, with DS18 wrapping up high school and getting colleges finalized. He's got two apps out and we'll see where things stand. If those do not pan out, he can "always" go to Community College and then transfer in to the four year school after 1-2 years...

I have an appointment with DS16 and the high school counselor tomorrow to make sure he is on track for graduation. I think he is caught up now and just needs his senior year planned out, but with the custody switching, need to be sure what I am facing.

Also need to get him in to the doctor and dentist as I am sure his father was not as good at keeping on top of those details as I am...

Hope you all had a great weekend and have a great new week. Stay warm dry and hydrated! Be safe shoveling if you are getting snow.

We're going into the single digits during the overnights this week, no snow expected that I can see, thankfully.... I feel for you getting blasted in the east side of hte US!! (( HUGS ))

Do you need a feel good photo? It's been nice and sunny/warm in California for a couple of weeks (after they got all of that RAIN in January, remember) and Jay's cat has been loving sitting by the lemon tree:

I told him she's probably using it for her outdoor litter box, but he really doesn't think so, thinks she likes the taller perch since it's in a tall pot it gets her about 8 or 10 inches off the ground LOL!!
