I weighed myself this morning. Damn. Last week there was no loss, this week I gained a pound. HOWEVER, we are now in the high altitude and I always gain fluid retention whenever we come and stay in Colorado. Usually up to 7 pounds gain. It makes me crabby nevertheless. At least I have a weight to compare to while on home-time. I will weigh everyday while there to monitor closely how being home affects my weight. I’ve got a dinner to attend, husband wants to hit the buffet on the day we are tightly scheduled with appointments and then there is my birthday to contend with too. Nice and challenging stuff when dieting! I have not felt much hunger in the last two weeks and I have decided to stay where I am calorie wise until next Tuesday, when I get back on the truck, then I will drop them lower, maybe to 1000 a day. Tomorrow we will be home! There is so much to do in the short time home, but I will continue to update the blog each day. I was telling my husband yesterday, that home-time, while we should be able to relax and enjoy some things we cannot eat or do on the truck, it is also a true test of learning to live in moderation and not in “oh boy it’s treat time†mode. Just so that I am clear, my only treat will be brandy and marzipan on my birthday. Not every day! lol. --
