hi jen!

i finally watched it today and was simply amazed at all 3 of the

finalists and at many of the other contestants. it was a really

awesome show! after watching it, i feel like i had better go and

workout now...lol.

>I don't care for

i like bob alot more too. jillian is too much of a barky drill

sargeant type and that kind of turns me off. bob seems tough but

soft at the same time. ive heard that jillians workouts are mainly

her yelling at you to do drills. i have them in my rental queue...

will try them some day.... but im much more inclined to do bob's BL

dvd, that is for sure.

:*carolyn.

pete's percentage of weight loss was quite close to matt's, i

think. both look sooo good!

i was also very impressed by what 3 of the women had done!! there

was one woman who didnt do so well at all though... i really felt for

her and hope that they will help her to figure it out. :*carolyn.

Hi Carolyn,

You can see previews of the female trainer's, Jillian s, videos at www.collagevideo.com, they don't look that good to me, she has music but does not use it to pace the moves (I don't know why this doesn't bother me with Tony Horton) and there is something about her I don't connect to. All that said I'm curious about the male trainer's (Bob?) video.

One thing about the Biggest Loser program is that hours are spent exercising which in not realistic for those of us in the real world. Jillian's plan is crazier than Bob's.

But the end result for all the Biggest Loser participants was great, I didn't recognize most of them, it was very motivating

yeah that is what cracks me up... one minute she is all tough and

drill-sargent-y and the next she is hugging someone and crying...

it looks pretty fake. i think that it is hilarious that the show

is playing up on her 'personality' and had her pull up to her team

on a motorcycle, wearing black leather... and her team is wearing

black t-shirts this season. making her look like a tough girl and

such a threat to kim and bob. heehee!!! actually, i wonder if bob

likes jillian, in real life?

I think that it will be fun to have 3 teams this year instead of two. I still like Bob the best and like Carolyn, I just laugh at Jillian. I'm a tougher person on the inside than she is and could kick her ass at volleyball....BRING IT ON! I don't know, but I wish they would've just stuck with a red team and a blue team! Jillian is WAY too over the top.

I thought maybe Bob played for the other team, no matter, I like his training style. I agree about Jillian, that's why I haven't tried any of her workouts, I don't need to see people screamed at and don't need to be screamed at for that matter.

and there is a new hostess too, right? some blonde actress, i suppose

The new host is Sweeny. She is from my soap Days Of Our Lives (which I've watched since the early 80's) I watched grow up on that show. She was something like 14 when she started there. I never liked her character, but she seems ok on Biggest Loser.

yeah, me too... i was glad when a guy on his team won last year. i hope that happens again this year too.

count me in on that too. I love Bob. I think he is so kind and sincere, but yet firm and tough on them and he acts like he really wants them to do well.

heehee!! i know. just wait until the show starts tonight.... im

sure she will good for a few laughs... ya know, bob is a fine

trainer and im sure that kim is too (although i havent made a firm

decision on that yet, based on last years show), but honestly they

are not very exciting to watch. at least jillian spices the show

up a bit. oh! and there is a new hostess too, right? some

blonde actress, i suppose. what happened to that other lady...

caroline rhea? she always made me wonder because she was a bit

fluffy herself... i would have liked to see her lose a few pounds

along with the contestants.

I really think that Jillian's behavior is because of tv...you know "acting tough." She has to do something different from Bob otherwise you have two "nice trainers" which doesn't make for very interesting tv viewing...BUT if you have a warm & fuzzy trainer and a "mean" trainer then it's more interesting to watch. Alison Sweeney (probably spelled wrong,) the new hostess is an actress on Days of our lives. I think that Carolyn Rhea had another project she was working on...? I like Alison, because I used to watch Days before I got too busy with work.
