I'm addicted to reading. I usually have about 4 books going at one time, plus I have 3 piles of books purchased and not read yet, as well as books I read in the past that I would love to read again soon, the "old friends." I *still* have that King book, Duma Key, next to my night table, still only half-read after what, over 2 years now? I got tired of getting it from the library so often I grabbed my own copy for 75 cents from Half.com. I found where I left off, marked it, then never touched it again. I started getting into cozy mysteries - they're more like brain candy than serious reading. What I do when using more than one computer for the same file is, after I save my changes I then send it to myself as an email attachment to the free mail account we all get when we make a groups account, one where you *must* go on-line to grab your mail, as opposed to my paid accounts that I download to read using Thunderbird. This way it's there waiting for me wherever I am. >It's about time I stop worrying about everybody else and start focusing on me for a while. Do you *really* think that's gonna happen as long as your mom is around? Sue in NJ
Guest guest
Doing what you love always bring a deep satisfaction. Keep that writing going! elisaannh -- Coming Back To Myself ... Today was a good day. I got a lot of movement in (not intentionally but any exercise is good exercise), finally committed to a daily exercise routine starting with my stepper, alternating to floor exercises, alternating to low impact aerobics. A nice variety. I bought absolutely NO junk food (no chips, dips, candy) and started back on water, making a commitment to keep a daily water routine going as well. I've picked up my reading again, I've only been listening to audiobooks lately, I'm going to be finishing the dozen or so books I bought not too long ago that I've been ignoring. I'm rededicating to a writing routine, started a new story Friday, but forgot the disc at work, will pick it up tomorrow and keep going with it. It's about time I stop worrying about everybody else and start focusing on me for a while. *~*~*~*"If I look down the road and see how far I have to go, I may get discouraged. If I overthink every aspect of what I need to do to succeed I may give up. If I focus on just today and make it as perfect as I can, I will succeed." -Sapphyre
