Greetings,I am here to confess to some mindless eating today. But I am somewhat proud -- I have never been far away from my back of baby carrots today. I decided that if I am going to give into the mindless eating; then it should at least be something somewhat healthy.I have really been missing my hubby today. He left this past Wednesday for a three-week mission trip to the deaf in Ghana, West Africa. He has not been back to Ghana in three years and he was really looking forward to being back. I got to talk with him via skype last night and it was great to see him so happy to be there again.I don't miss him much during the week. Am used to being by myself then; but the weekends are usually time we get to spend together.I am also using

exercise as a stress/depression reliever. Have been working out with Sansone fairly regularly the past couple of weeks. When I get to feeling a bit overwhelmed I go turn on my favorite Christian radio station, turn it up real loud and have added a quick walk on the treadmill. Never longer than about 15 minutes. Sure is helping. My biggest concern is that when I have long periods of time by myself; I tend not to eat the best -- because I really hate cooking for just myself. I am a diabetic and I really can't go without eating on a regular basis. Think that will be my biggest struggle until comes home on Feb. 1. Dacia<>< "In that day the deaf will hear the Word . . . You’ve got some wonderful coping skills going on there, lady! Excellent too, to recognize the need you are having. I will be away from my husband a whole year and I cannot even comprehend how I will get through it! So be more than somewhat proud...Be VERY proud for being mindful!
