SLEIGH BELLS RING...

Monday, 25 October 2010

Are

you listening? In the lane, snow is glistening.

A beautiful sight, we're happy tonight, walking in

a winter wonderland!

Ahhhh,

I can't wait 'til winter arrives. That's when I can

take my sleigh out of the garage, run outside and

start playing in the snow. Oh boy, will that ever

be...hey. Wait a minute! I live in Los

Angeles. I don't have a sleigh. Okay,

never mind! LOL.

But seriously, just two months from today, we'll be

opening gifts and bringing good cheer to all of the

people we love. Your phones will be ringing off the

hook as you receive calls from out-of-town loved

ones calling to wish you a Merry Christmas!

People

will be stopping by your house and showing off their

new Flip cameras as they video all of the holiday

goings-on in your house. M-m-m-m-m, something

smells really good in your kitchen. And your house,

it's decorated so beautifully for the holidays.

Just look at that spectacular 9-foot spruce

Christmas tree adorning your living room. Look

under the tree, too. That's a brand new scale for

you with the big red and green ribbon on it! Uh,

oh! (Seems our happy little Christmas scene

has taken a bit of a dark turn, doesn't it?)

So let

me ask, what do you want to weigh two months from

today? Will you be ready to get on the scale with

confidence, come Christmas morning? Hey,

in two months, you could safely lose 5-10 pounds,

depending on what you weigh today. Now come on.

That's not such a bad Christmas gift for yourself,

is it? In fact, I'd day it's a great one!

Now let's get serious. During the next two months,

between Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas,

there're gonna be all kinda of edible temptations

coming your way. And quite a few of those

temptations, in fact, most of them are

gonna be very high in calories! If you're not

careful, before you know it, you could have eaten

1500 calories just nibbling on hor derves! And then

you have to face dinner. Oh my! So what's

it all about, Alfie?

Now look, and do I even have to tell you? You cannot

lose weight eating that way! You've gotta

stay on your healthy eating program all the way

through the next two months if you want to get on

the scale Christmas morning and feel good about the

numbers you see!

And what can save you, I mean really save

you? Well, besides staying on your healthy food

program, you've got to get in 60 hours of exercise

between now and Christmas Day. That's right, you've

got to move that body of yours everyday between

now and December 25th. And I mean you've got to put

some real energy into your movements. Get

ready to sweat!

I've been writing these Christmas messages to you

for ten months now, reminding you every month since

last Christmas that, oh yes, Christmas is coming

again. And look, it's almost back!

Some of

you have E-mailed and told me that you've lost quite

a bit of weight so far this year. Hooray!

I truly hope that you have more

weight-loss success during the next two months. And

for those of you who've been on-and-off program and

haven't seen great results with your weight-loss,

well...it's not too late!

Come on! Wouldn't it be terrific if you could see

those great results with your weight-loss between

now and Christmas Day...just two months away? Well,

you can, you know!

Gone away is a blue bird. Here to stay is a new

bird, he sings a love song, as we go

along...walking in a winter wonderland!

Love,
