[The Little Bowl] Eating Too Much?

It’s really hard sometimes for me to tell just how much I am eating and if it’s the right amount. I think calorie counting helps me stay in contact with some sort of idea. It’s frustrating that I not only deal with not being able to see just how obese I really am, but that I often cannot tell if I am eating too much or too little. I am not at all hungry. Last night I had a can of green beans and 2 chicken sausages and felt like I couldn’t finish it all. Had that meal been a whole cake i doubt i would have known when to stop eating. I know that low carb does take away the appetite, but i am finding that the meals that work out for me calorie-wise are starting to feel like too much food when I eat it. Just noting it. Yesterday we stopped in Joplin Missouri. In some bushes out popped a little kitten, about 3 months old. She watched me then sat down. Then another one came out but was more shy and laid down a little further away. Then came the third one. I went back to the truck and got a can of tuna fish and set it down. A fourth cat came, this one a little older, but not an adult came out. All four ate out of one can, all ate without hissing or getting possessive. Such well behaved kitties! I wanted to keep one, but my husband put his foot down. Sigh. I left them another can this morning before we left, but they didn’t come back out, and rats on that, I had my camera ready. Another incident happened at 3 this morning, a knocking at the door. My husband was getting dressed (we had a 4am delivery) and waved the person away. After I got up, dressed and sat in my passenger seat, I watched a woman come across the parking lot looking at all the trucks, looking for signs of life. She saw us and as she walked towards us I noticed she was about 30-40 years old, wore black pants, a pink tight tee-shirt and a swing style jacket that was lined in pink. She had short dark hair, may have been Hispanic, wore no makeup and swayed as she walked like she was high. My husband turned on the headlights which blinded her temporarily, making her sway again. She persisted in her quest and knocked on our door again. He waved her away. She what is called a Lot Lizard in trucking slang. A Prostitute. My husband shook his head and commented “a sad life to liveâ€. I sat there thinking about her for quite some time. I have seen some of the Lot Lizards looking far more rough, this one gave me an impression she was a mother and fairly well dressed, not like a hooker at all. But one she was, I watched her knock on several more truck doors until one let her in. Sometimes sitting in a truck is like sitting and watching the world behind a two way mirror. Here is an update on my nutritional averages and my BG readings: Here is my average since the beginning of October, which includes hometime until the 11th: Click to enlarge And my Blood Glucose readings with the carbs eaten. The carbs are full carbs, not net. Click to enlarge --
