I have an upper respiratory infection going on. My chest started hurting tonight, so I'm wondering if it's bronchitis. I haven't gone to the Dr. yet. I'm hoping that it will go away on it's own. We'll see. Keep breathing!!!!!!! Love, Liz

Guest guest
Hi Jul, Thank you for letting us know how things are going for you. So sorry to hear that you are having such a rough time of it though. Yet, another time in the hospital...oh yuk. Happy your friends and people from your church are helping you out. Now you won't have to be afraid that you will pass out on the way to an appointment, and someone should now be on hand to help you get groceries and meds etc. Sorry you won't be able to make it to Vegas, but hey! a sons wedding does come first! Maybe next year. What would cause those hormone levels to be so high I wonder? You take care my friend, ~~tricia~~ Wisconsin ***************************************************************************** -- I'm still here! Just dropping everyone a note to say I just got out of the hospital this morning. I was in my psychologist's office and had some sort of extreme shaking chills (although it's been very humid and hot - I was not feeling it!). I felt like I was freezing to death. My psychologist took me to the ER! They believed I was having seizures. My nails were completely white. I've been very anemic lately (in fact, had a blood transfusion a few weeks ago). Friends and my church people did a " 180 " this week after seeing me. Seems like everyone was calling me and " checking " on me. It was a nice change, but it did worry me a bit. I haven't been able to " retain " the blood transfusion, so I've still be very, very tired. After two plus years' straight, on the 1st of July, I came completely off my methylprednisolone and STEROID-FREE!! I thought that was what was happening but it apparently was my potassium (which I take a med supplement for) that was so low that caused the seizures and made me pass out in the ER. The night before I was trying to fill my med box, and kept getting dizzy and falling (like 6 times - with bruises to prove it). Don't ask me why I didn't go to the ER then, because I don't know why (expect that I HATE that place!). So, I'm home, broke, feeling better and have to go back in this afternoon for ANOTHER follow-up! All-in-all...reading the posts really made me miss you guys. I don't think I'll be going to Vegas, because I have to save my pennies now that my son got engaged on July 3rd and is getting married in Minnesota (where he lives now) the Saturday AFTER THANKSGIVING!!!! So, all together, things aren't too bad! My new rheumy DEFINITELY believes I have Stills (the last one I'd been with for 6 years, and he still wouldn't CALL IT " Stills " )...dummy!! Opps! Sorry. The new doc is finding new things and is quite interested in my case. Anyone have problems with their parathyroid gland or parathyroid hormone? " Apparently my hormone levels are 3 times the normal high reading. Well, just wondering... Lots of luv, Jul Lilac_Rose@... Guest guest
Jules, I wish things were getting better for you but you hang in there!! Ask those that will to help you right now as it seems you really need it. I know Still's comes with a certain bad anemia, is that what you are having problems with? I wish you better and a big hug to the pillow from me. Guest guest
prayers winging your way.... I think there are also a lot of non-dangerous reasons for nosebleeds -- I remember one of my brothers used to have frequent ones, something to do with his nose-membranes not being dense enough...so don't worry until you have to! It's great that you've found a good doctor (your chiropractor) who really does well for you -- it seems whenever I see a doctor, all that is done is medicine prescribed or tests ordered -- nothing really diagnosed or healed!!! Bonnie I'm still here! Hey everybody! I haven't posted for a few days, so I just wanted to say that I'm still hanging in there, keeping up the LifeLift each day, but I need some prayers... Yesterday was my rest day, and it looks like today I will have to rest, as well. All day today I've had some awful aches in my ribs and chest, some in my back and neck, too. I know it's not from the LifeLift because I'm very used to it now, and I haven't added any other exercises to my program. I'm due to have my time of the month start any day now, and I know that anytime I'm about to start, any soreness I have anywhere seems to be magnified, but I don't know what this soreness is from, and it's really scaring me! I sure hope it's not the start of the flu. I visited my chiropractor last week, hoping he could help stop some nosebleeds I kept having a couple of times every couple of days. This scared me so much because I've heard frequent nosebleeds could be a sign of something as serious as leukemia, and I've had very few nosebleeds in my entire life. Anyway, it was shocking, but such a relief...He stopped my nosebleeds!!! I first started going to him back in September of '03 because of so many Dr. visits for chest pains that led to the Dr. wanting to prescribe Prozac because all my tests came back negative. I knew that's not what I needed so I tried a chiropractor for the first time ever, and he saved my life! He figured out that I injured my neck, which was causing so much pressure on my chest, and almost instantly, I was healed after what he did for me. Anyway, when I was there last week, he worked on my chest area where he usually does, so I don't think that has anything to do with the soreness. Please pray for me that all this soreness is nothing to worry about! The nosebleeds were scary enough. I'm keeping you all in my prayers, too! Stay well, and take care! Lotsa love, Becky What can changing the way you breathe do for you? Everything! Guest guest
Hello Becky, I am so sorry to hear you are not feeling well. I will keep you in my prayers. It is good that you have found a good chiropractor. I have been going to one since I was a child and what a difference it made when I had health issues. I used to get terrible nose bleeds as a child. They can be very frightening. I am glad yours are better. Take good care, Rashelle Harness the Powerful Benefits of Oxygen with LifeLift. Guest guest
-Hi Brennan, I hope you like the nail enhancer. Have fun at Niagara Falls. I used to live there when I was in high school When we graduated from high school we all went to the Falls to see the lights on them at night because none of us had ever done that. We figured when we went to college people might be curious about the falls and none of us had really spent any time there. Just like New Yorkers and the Statue of Liberty. Have a great trip. Guest guest
Wanted to stop by and let you know I am still here! I am getting more and more motivated to get myself healthy -- in so many different ways! This past week I started exercising again -- new month, new start! So far, I have exercised 3 days in a row -- for 30 minutes. I have found that in my exercising I always seem to come back to Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds dvds. They are something I can do and feel as if I am succeeding at something. All the other exercise dvds I do; I can't seem to finish them and don't feel like I am succeeding. I also resumed my membership to CalorieKing and re-installed their software on my computer (and have their website bookmarked on my cell phone!) Have no excuse NOT to keep up with my food journal! Another membership that I renewed was to Sansone's Walk Club. Committing to a full year's worth on each membership. Considering it my Christmas present to me! My goal tor this month are to start on the journey of becoming healthy again. Weight loss is going to be an added benefit. Want to measure my success by 1) how many consecutive days I record in my food journal ; 2) how many days I exercise; and 3) lowering of my blood sugars and lowering the amount of insulin I take. Right now my goals are to establish new habits. While I will be keeping track of what I eat and how may calories, carbs, fat, etc., that I am consuming; the main goal is to establish the habit of recording my food intake. If you're on FB (or not, since you joined the walk-club) be sure to get in on the 12-day December challenge that starts this Monday 12/6.... you should be able to see her posts about it on the walkclub blog
Guest guest
Yep. I've seen you posting on the WATP Facebook page. I'm thinking about doing the challenge this time. I did order the 21-day Walk Eat Lose challenge kit -- but did it just before the discount code was announced. Printed off the Walk Club Calender for December and have it on my refrigerator door so I can follow it. LOL that's hilarious Dacia! I haven't printed anything out and will probably loosely follow the challenge ) Right now, my right knee and ankle are ticked off from walking in the snow and stuff. Her 3-5 mile per day challenges are rough on the girl. Hugs!

Not sure if I can talk myself into more than that right now as I am just beginning to get in the exercise habit again. Dacia<>< Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.
