Today's WI brings me to 281.2, which is seemingly a .2 gain this week. Pshhhhhh that's nothing, that's really a maintain and this week was hormone week, so I am ok with that. I tend to eat the house still during hormone weeks, I just don't have the cycle....

Plus, I was "sick" with a cold and I know that the meds, etc can cause retention. My ankles show me that I am retaining.

I am pleased that I have successfully been following some semblance of an exercise program since Dec 26th, so what is that, 7 weeks now?

When I took measurements Feb 1st I had lost 4 inches in the 5-week period of time and I am thinking with spot measurements this morning that I have another 1-2" off right now and am not "due" to measure in again until March 20th.

I am doing those every 4-6 weeks so I do not get frustrated if the scale is not moving a lot, ya know?

My knee is a tiny bit happier since Jay bought me my "Strong Knees" DVD - I have "only" been doing the 7-Minutes to Save Your Knees workout and that is enough for right now. Later on, I will build up and do some of the other sections. This

is especially good since right now, I am 20 weeks post op, so things are getting better as time goes by. I just need to be patient and remember my limitations.

I hope you are all having a great weekend. I haven't been hearing about insane weather across the country, so I hope it has calmed down somewhat for you all and you are finally getting a little respite from having to shovel like crazy or being so cold it's not even funny.

Right now, we're sitting on almost 4 weeks that we have had no new snow that accumulated enough to make me cranky. We had super cold, windy, rainy stuff, but no huge snowfall to have to shovel hours on end. Thank goodness.

I'll probably switch to no mail/digest tomorrow since I have a parent's meeting at the school Tuesday night and I fly out to CA for the weekend on Wednesday evening.

310 / 281.2 / ?

I try to avoid the decimal point thing. even if rounding up would mean the next pound up. It gets too hard core for me to want to deal with it. More importantly, you noticed what was going on with your body, the ankles, the hormonal surge and feeling ill.

While it can be frustrating to hold to the same weight, it is not quite as frustrating as bouncing up and down the same couple of pounds. So angry am I over doing this that I am bound and determined to make intake as steady as can be so that I can see if that makes a difference. Some claim that bouncing calories up and down break stalls, but I have never found that to be true for myself. It seems the more consistent I am, the better the odds I will lose fairly consistently. I went back and looked at my reports, the last time I dropped below a bouncing time was in July of last year, when I was consistent.

With your exercising, I am sure you will drop by next week!
