Yesterday, I played around with new blog templates are I just love this one, so gentle, so opposite of the trucking life. Hope it is easy on the eyes for my readers. I need to rework my blogroll and a few other things, but that’s the fun of changing up the look. Free blog templates: http://btemplates.com/ Yesterday I had way too many calories. We up just way too long and out of synch with schedules. At least the calories were all acceptable foods and came only because of the night driving throwing me so out of whack. I had to eat at 1am, that was planned. But the snack of mixed nuts were because I was so hungry at that time and we had planned to drive until 7pm, which was too long for me to go without eating before dinner. But two extra meals are throwing me up there in calories and carbs and that just irritates me. I know this is the downside of counting calories, where the numbers get too big of an importance and body cues are downplayed. In truth, I ate when very hungry and I did have very long longs to endure between meals. This is my grey area, trying to keep things in perspective. I feel great today though. A solid night of sleep at a rest area rather than a truck stop was so heavenly. It's quieter, there's cleaner air. We are in North Carolina heading into Florida and the sun is shining, the snow is gone. That helps put a bright spin on things. BG was an astounding 74 this morning! YAY! I am sure I can keep on plan and in synch today. I don't feel any bloat or heaviness, but I miss having that empty feeling when I know I am eating just enough. --
