ON THE 12TH

DAY OF...

Monday, 13 December 2010

Oh, you know the song I'm talking

about, 12 Days of Christmas! It's been

around for years. When I was young, I memorized the

entire song. (How about you?) Yep, from the seven

swans-a-swimming all the way to the partridge

in the pear tree, I could sing that song!

LOL.

Well, today is December 13th and do you know what's

special about today? You guessed it, we've got just 12

days left 'til Christmas! So it got me to

thinking and I've decided to do my own version of the

12 Days of Christmas, just for you! I've

taken a little liberty with the words to fit our

needs. So, okay, are you ready? Ahem...Mee-mee-mee-mee-e-e-e...

On the 12th day of Christmas, what I gave to me is

a hundred leg-lifts, all as pretty as they can be.

On the 11th day of Christmas, what I gave to me is

a more positive attitude that fit me to a "T."

On the 10th day of

Christmas, what I gave to me is an eight-ounce glass

of water followed by seven more...(I'm keeping

score)!

On the 9th day of Christmas, what I gave to me is

a big healthy salad, pretty as it could be.

On the 8th day of Christmas, what I gave to me is

a sweatin' workout to a DVD.

On the 7th day of Christmas, what I gave to me is

a tasty fruit plate for my lunch, yesiree!

On the 6th day of Christmas, what I gave to me is

a "mani" and a "pedi" to pamper me.

On the 5th day of Christmas, what I gave to me is

a toning workout for my slowly shrinking bo-dy!

On the 4th day of Christmas, what I gave to me is

a healthy homemade soup filled with lots of my

fa-vo-rite veggies.

On the 3rd day of Christmas, what I gave to me is

a nice long walk and then a cup of piping hot tea.

On the 2nd day of

Christmas, what I gave to me was a hot bubble bath

to make me feel, ahhhh...relaxed and oh-so free.

And on the 1st day of Christmas, what I gave to me

were warm holiday memories made with my friends and

fa-mi-ly.

Hope you're having happy holidays, everybody!

Love,
